hey guys, was hoping if some of you guys could share some insight with me :)

i am considering of which bank account to open to credit my salary to. i am still an undergraduate but would be graduating in june 2016. right now im researching about the different banks available that gives the best interest rates. from what i know, right now there's:

ocbc 360
uob one
boc smartsaver
stand chart esaver

i was wondering if any one got any site where i can directly comparing the effective interest rates of each bank account, and also which of their credit cards would also help in increasing the interest rates (pay 3 bills mthly, etc). i saw it somewhere before, but i couldn't remember. tried searching this thread and other threads already.

thank you!

Those having full 60,000 and fulfill all the criteria should be getting $180.90 total bonus + base interest for the month of december 2015. More if you have more than 60k average balance, as the base 0.4% will be more

a few variables around. so if u had no salary crediting and assuming that u will not hit cc spending >500 but are able to hit three bill payment (telco, internet, cc etc). assuming u had >5k savings but <20k.

1.450% scb esaver (need 2 accounts shift every 2 mths)
1.000% cimb fastsaver (no fuss)
0.875% boc smartsaver (with 3 payments)
0.550% ocbc 360 (with 3 payments; if no shifting)

we cant advice u further cos the percentages changes with your spending pattern and your savings amount (boc/uob based on tier). the max is 3.550% up to 1st 60k for boc if all criteria fulfilled.

On BOC IB, I registered a CC bill as DBS CC but with a AMEX number. The system accepted the bill registration. Made a payment that was processed ie deducted from my BOC Smart Saver account. What's gonna happen next ?

Can BOC IB make payment to AMEX CC bill ? I dont see it ... just to confirm.

Likely yes as BOC is leveraging on AXS for its bill payment
