I just "transferred" my rebate from my cc to my debit card (ie my bank account) using online banking.

Hopefully it works so that there is no need to spend the card to utilize the rebate.

i think there is a charge involved for cash advance from CC

I think less people know Uob in China.
China market alone is 1.6 billion population ohh.
Bank of China is relatively new here, but they have branches all over in Malaysia and Singapore now. Think they expand aggressively.

I pull out citiprestige also like no one recognize one. Only those people in this section will take note of the cards. Sad truth.

I feel cards are more a western thing. In China, a lot of ppl I know carry $20-30k out instead of bringing cards

Anyone use this card for free access to The Green Market (TGM), part of Plaza Premium Lounge now, (according to Plaza Premium Lounge webpage) at T2 Changi Airport?

my BOC VI has always been waived... never use the card at all. I'm prepared to cancel if they don't waive, but so far i guess they are hoping for me to use the card.

And since gpmc died already, now i am using this BOC VI to pay my insurance premiums which still give 0.3% rebate, better than nothing at all.

No need pay monies usually I keep. But it can be a hassle one year later to request waiver. I tend to keep one card for one bank. Your case is a few cards with BOC. I only got one card with BOC.
