Will all divert to soon lee bus int?

Just divert & find alternative venues with pick-up points for the buses at the bus interchange, Jurong Point or nearby bus-stops to pick up the passengers.

The bus driver of this bus must be damn stressed

A bus broke down and stopped on the road, causing traffic in and out of the Boon Lay Bus Interchange to be "paralyzed". Some buses had to wait for up to 45 minutes, and the driver asked passengers to get off the bus in advance and walk into the station.

A reader surnamed Li (28 years old, accountant) notified Lianhe Zaobao at 8 am on Friday (March 7) that buses near the Boon Lay Bus Interchange were blocked from entering and leaving, and there was a long queue. The waiting time at the interchange and some nearby bus stations was extended to 40 minutes.

The front of an SMRT bus seemed to be damaged, the bumper had been removed, and it was parked at the fork in the road leading out of the bus interchange. (Provided by a reader)
According to the photos he provided, the front of an SMRT bus seemed to be damaged, the bumper had been removed, and it was parked at the fork in the road leading out of the bus interchange. It is believed that this is the main reason why other buses cannot enter and exit. Reader Li also said: "There are also many maintenance projects in the Wenli area. Many roads are one-way traffic. Today's congestion has slowed down traffic. The taxi waiting area is also crowded."

Social media posts show that commuters found buses "gathered" at the intersection as early as 6 o'clock, making it difficult for all buses to enter and exit. Some buses had to let passengers get off two or three stops in advance and walk to the interchange.

It is reported that the congestion at the interchange is still continuing.

Just cos of one bus? No other plans?
what sort of plans can they have? boon lay interchange only has that one small exit for feeder buses and a even smaller bus for trunk buses. there are way more feeder buses, and there's only 1 route, 1 lane, in and out of that small interchange entrance.

this jam is not a today happen only problem, it was a day 1 problem ever since jurong point expanded and the interchange built indoors. what happened today was just an additional wait on top of the already long wait.

really a failed planning with zero foresight

the bus driver also one kind. dual lane carriageway on that filter, he chose to keep centre of the entire carriageway, and when it breaks down, both lanes blocked.

then I supposed in order to make a left turn there, vehicles have to make a 90 deg left turn at the right turn only junction, which just nice is a pedestrian crossing. no wonder everyone stuck, because vehicles cannot make the turn.
broke down or accident? why front bumper gone
when bus breaks down, the front bumper needs to be removed for the tow truck to access the tow pin

Clementi interchange is also another potential problem
