What’s so special about this brand?

I googled it’s from malaysia and it offers wheat germ and whole wheat bread,

Both of which readily available here by other brands.

He is saying that bread is expensive. I bought 2 loaves of it outside a coffee stall at only $1 each. In Malaysia, it cost RM3.30. But the taste almost matches Gardenia.

i agree about the healthy part. Pap can tell you how we still have cheap food. But those ingredients and quality is full palm oil and saturated fats and fillings and sugars and artificial colours

I thought eggs are worse. Half a dozen now can cost like $3+ or $4+...

and to think that last time we can 加蛋 to our chicken rice at 50 cents. now they only give half an egg instead of a whole.

Dont worry, when gov price hike be it transport, utilities or gst they will say it reasonable and understandable, but when hawkers or retail food up price they will blame the sinkiel sellers for it and unreasonable and unjustified, hoping gov take action against fellow sinkies.

They promote healthy lifestyle but yet healthy items are super expensive while low quality are cheap.

White bread is one of the worst food in terms of nutrition, it is basically flour and some sugar. Then because it is so low in nutrients the manufacturers have to add back calcium, folate thiamine, etc.
