Agreed that EC/C could be one of the greatest big-item purchase one could possibly be making. If that is the case for you, you have to ask yourself some serious questions why are you eager to part with your hard earn money NOW or anytime soon in view of the dire economic situation and the sky high property prices.

My view is, if you are not in a rush (not in a die die must buy now mode) and don't mind NOT getting your choice unit, then perhaps one can wait for the projects to TOP before heading down to take an actual view of the units available (there will be plenty left (not a guesswork, the numbers are there for you to verify)). This will give you more assurance isn't it?

Many buyers are not interested in your advise although this is simple common sense. I have been saying the same things but no one is listening. Let then learn the hard way Yah. Stupid people deserves it.:s8:

Erm...no lah, I don't think there are stupid people around bah, can buy condo already surely cant be too bad? Committed buyers may really need to do it NOW for some good reasons which we may not know. Furthermore, nobody can say for certain that prices will come down ....

Having said that.... I feel all the signs are pointing to a softening property market scene which in other words, it's a buyers market.....so one should really think twice to part with 6-7 figure sums now. A little bit of delay gratification and well who knows....u may be buying something at 10-15% cheaper and still get a decent unit?

My point of view, however, is largely from an investment angle, I supposed if you are buying today to stay for the next 20-30yrs in your choice unit, I am in the opinion your property will still not fail u. :)

什么是对? 什么是错?对与错没人能解释的清,别人口中的对错不一定就是对的或错的。重要的是自己。

别太勉强。开心就好。:)

Actually now all the ECs are overpriced. Cannot buy one. So if want to buy one, better choose carefully or you will be stuck with one which cannot sell because of the high price you paid for it.

From your nick, assume you are born in 1972? So you are 44 this year. If you haven't been upgrading yourself and doing well at your work, you may have your own fears about retrenchment at this age. Don't assume everyone is like you though. The economy is not doing well but it doesn't mean everybody has the fear of losing their job hovering over them.

Erm okay..... I know the property market is very quiet but you property agents should have more heart than to encourage people to over purchase right?

Then again to make profits you can't have a heart....... Oh well....:vijayadmin:

Exactly! What's the rush? Only agents want buyers to rush to get their commission before they change their minds! Once you start thinking you will realize there is no rational reason to jump into a pot of hot water!
Point being the units are crawling in terms of sales and i have even known "sold" stickers on certain developments are half truths.

Be very careful please!:vijayadmin:

Personally i feel that the layout is the more important deciding factor than the view. You probably won't end up sitting outside the balcony admiring the view most of the time. So it depends which layout you prefer. Another important factor will be the proximity to your daily transport. The time and effort used for that extra distance is multiplied by how long you stay there.

Visionaire most likely is 2 rows of blocks with the pool in the middle. Don't be misled by the artist impression.
You will most likely be facing a long row of blocks and not their pool.

Visionaire is one stretch of blocks. Go to their website. This is confirmed.

I choose to believe it's 2 rows. They can't possibly build 600+ units with just a single row.

Seems like is 2 rows nearer to the mrt track and 1 row further away
