I think this single 12mm dynamic driver IEM get overlook during the KZ controversy with most people on reddit recommend other brands and telling people dun buy KZ... actually it is quite decent. The treble is very tamed... mid is okay, the bass is good.. if you have to play games using IEM, this one is not a bad choice. But I do agree there are other cheaper choice... that time I simply pick this up for the unique looks.

I am connecting my IEM to a cheap Samsung Galaxy A14 which is a cheap 2nd phone for having my mum SingPass installed on it.. and it having a 3.5mm jack... it sounds absolutely fine leh.... so if a cheap entry-mid range phone around $200++ is serving the function of a DAP and able to do much more... is there really a reason to buy a DAP for it...

Interesting... so basically you can add switches to any IEM... but why need to have left and right.. sibei weird leh.. but it is quite cheap though... $6+ for the mic version, non-mic one is $4+.

This Dongle DAC sibei interesting got physical button to use the DSP to EQ... less than $10 only. Just that it is not very high resolution.. but then my SXFI Amp also same same lol...

Gotta eat my previous words on never owning another KZ item... Bought a pair of PRX recently and... I guess my S12 will be going into retirement. This set is the kind of sound I've been seeking all this while (without EQ), and just 25% of the price of my S12. Swapped to Spinfit Omni eartips and it's even better.

The package is super barebones, but here's where the plastic hardcase for my piece-of-junk kaput'd KZ Ling Long comes in handy. Ling Long can throw away liao (leaving the cable for future DIY). It's almost as if the price of the Ling Long is mostly for the hardcase.

I today finally realized why at one point I kinda dislike Vader... it is the pressure feel inside when I use it with silicone tip, when I switch back to the foam tip that came with it.. it feels much better. Same thing with CCA Hydro... maybe too many units inside so the air pressure build up can feel uncomfortable.

Non-existent venting and driver flex is what killed my Ling Long. It's just terrible to use, when it was working. That pressure build-up...
