another viewpoint from nic tse dad lookalike.
Picky audio is pref V-shape with warm timbre

Probably another sponsored post. I listened to so many TWS and conclusion is all probably will sound like crap except for the XMEMS driver ones.

You mean sponsored video?

In the headphone thread, i also intro blackwing aurvena ace during sg60 promo. (Similar tech as planar)

Prefer planar tech which is successful in headphones oredi. (Clean sound as from my wired timeless II)

When Aurvana Ace was first launched 2 Canjams ago I listened to it and was impressed by the clarity of the vocals and how fast and responsive it was!

But i loaned it to some people to try and they didn’t like it because they found the bass to weak. I have always found the bass of most TWS too overpowering like the Sennheiser Momentum 3 I bought only because it was on sale. I hated it and subsequently sold it. Since then i have bought 2 pairs of Creative TWS the Aurvana Ace 2 and now upgraded to the Ace Mimi.

KYM?? Hoot lai liao. First impression, the DAC works fine, but the difference between each setting is subtle... even the so call red immersive gaming EQ... it is wider etc.. but difference not as big like switching on SXFI on my SXFI AMP. The ear tips is just a bit better then the default starline ear tips, but compared to something like the TRN ear tips, I find the silicone like sibei soft maybe is too thin, but maybe this will prevent too much pressure build up just like the S&S Dunu Ear tips, but confirm way thinner compared to Spinfit W1 or CP100 Plus.

For watching movies or music, just stick to the top 2.

The dongle is can buy, offers compatibility with most IEM connect to phone or PC just fine.

The microphone on both the Gale and the M2 cable is actually good... so if you do game on IEM or uses phone to talk while on the go using IEM, the cable is not bad... but the only reason why I even bother to buy KZ Gale because they dun sell that cable alone for now, the type-C M2 cable is different only offers selection of 3 tuning... which is more music focus and nothing for gaming. But if you dun intend to game, this might be good. But I would recommend buying the dongle better... you can use your own higher quality cable.

I think the KZ Gale tuning by default might have very spicy treble for gaming... :ROFLMAO:

So if you are scare of spicy treble, beware... now I am pondering if I want to remove the cable and used it somewhere else...

The ear tips are very soft... that is about as much as I am willing to say...

One thing I notice is that the nozzle on KZ Gale is very short, that might play into how uncomfortable a softer ear tip will feel on it.

No wonder the Immersive Gaming Mode is so spicy, not only they increase the treble, they reduce the bass as well...

The LS-01 does not work on KZ Gale as the nozzle is too short so feels uncomfortable since it is so thin and soft, but I put it on KZ Vader and it works fine, I cannot use the foam tips on it.. it feels very uncomfortable on my ears.

And managed to install ASIO4ALL and use ASIO on the KZ AM-02 DAC on MediaMonkey... not bad.. :D

But got some glitches, I guess if you want ASIO best to have the official drivers from the DAC company.
