Budget pc recommendation

Would like to build a PC with around $800 budget. Only playing light games like LoL, DotA, CS:GO on 1080p. Occasionally some heavier titles but don't mind toning graphics down given my tight budget.

OS will be needed. Kb, mouse, monitor etc not required. Ideally to include a small SSD for installing OS for booting if possible? And lastly also would like to get all my parts from SLS so I can do it in one shot.

Know it sounds quite demanding but really hope this can be done. Thanks so much in advance. :):)

Any size, color requirements? Can get online or die die at sls only? At $800, getting some online and at sls would be a better deal

Ideally all at SLS as I might go down tomorrow. I don't mind sacrificing some value for convenience. Kinda need the comp asap.

Would a Intel i5 option be possible if I bump up my budget by about 100-150$?

Also would it be possible to get all my items from a single shop say TradePac? Sorry but time really isn't in my favour.

How long can you spare?

A few hours it seems... Will be going down in the afternoon and hoping everything turns out well.

Ideally get the parts settled by tomorrow and if need be built over Christmas holidays and collect them say Sat/Sun?

You can, but if you're just gaming then would be better to invest in a better graphics card than a better cpu. What else will you be doing with the pc?

If you're building yourself, should have enough time to get the parts from these stores.

Hi thanks for your input. Heres my situation actually:

Have a custom comp built 3 years back that died on me yesterday. Signs telling me graphics card (7870 I believe) died but not entirely sure so will be going to SLS to troubleshoot. Computer is already 3 years old (but with light-moderate usage as I was staying in in NS past 2 years)..

So I'm torn as to whether to reuse some parts or not as I'm afraid just replacing GFX card and a few months later another part spoils.

What are some parts for sure can last many years? HDD/SSD/CD Drive/Mobo? TBH if I was just looking to change GFX card what would be a good replacement for a 7870 at a budget? I cannot rmb the exact mobo but PSU should be ~500watts and CPU is one of the older i5s...

Thanks for all the trouble everyone. :)

Edit: Mobo is ASrock B75M-DGS CPU is I5-3470

Your Mobo and CPU are still very good..

If you intend to go down for troubleshoot... look for Nigel

Im sure he will advise you accordingly..

Yes i was already introduced by a friend and will be visiting him later. Just made this thread in case I was advised to buy a whole new comp instead.

Think I will heed Nigel's advice then. Thanks so much :)

yup, no worries. but which psu you using right now? if the quality not good than might be good to swap that out for something else.
