Any preference for colour scheme? E.g. Black with White/Red/Blue/Green/Gold/etc…
Need any of these within the budget?

Windows
Monitor
Speaker
Keyboard
Mouse
WiFi adapter

Placing PC on table or floor?
Any physical dimension constraint at your PC holding area?

Will your monitor screen position be facing any bright light source like window?

Which internet provider plan and router are you using?
Is your home in a relatively new apartment built in the past 8 years?
How far is your upcoming PC located from the router?
Any obstruction between your PC and router?

Bro i5 skylake is >$350 already. Gtx 1060 is about $400. Define R5 is like $140, H440 more ex. I estimate you need to add another $300-$400 to get the stuff you want. If dota2 only, gtx 960 + i3 already overkill.

For PSU, no point buying the low end corsair ones...waste money only...rather go with FSP or at max go with superflower...

The list moneyface gave you already help you to squeeze every $ out of your budget.

I recently bought a new rig, and my mobo has Intel HD 530 iGPU. I installed DOTA 2, set everything to max details, 2560x1440 @ 60hz, started 5v5 bot match.

Imagine my surprise the gameplay is smooth.

Igpu is not bad one. Can play basic games like dota/cs. Worst case cannot Max settings only.

Gfx card more for ultra setting or 2k/4k gaming which the igpu may not be able to handle

If intent is to play dota 2 maxed try a mobo w intel hd 530 or 520. No need to buy discrete gpu. If cannot then later buy still can. U might be surprised. Moreover you aren't playing at my resolution.

Let's say I can up Budget to 1.2k - 1.4k?

Seriously my build is way more thab sufficient to handle most AA titles at max on Full HD smoothly, let alone a decade old Dota 2.

A $1.3K PC is enough for a GTX1060/RX480 system capable of maximising ALL games on Full HD 50-60Hz

If go for i5 Haswell? The build looks good but need to fix it myself or can I get it done somewhere?

For the same motherboard (asrock h81m-hds), i5 4460 is another $95 on PC Themes pricelist. Since the components are purchased from different sources, best is you can fix it yourself at home. Not that difficult, just need a screwdriver and read the motherboard manual.

If really no confidence to DIY, then bring everything to SLS. When you buy your motherboard and CPU from the shop, ask them to fix for you for a fee.

I don't mind build it myself, do I need to purchase thermal paste and all those data cables? Or is it included inside?

Possible to get 2 of the Samsung Monitor that moneyface suggested and make it into dual monitor setups?

If all you are going toplay is just Dota 2, Core i3 is already very well great (and still overkill). A ture quad core Core i5 is more prudent if you intend to play a variety of games that utilise different game engines that are threaded differently.

Building it yourself is definitely a welcoming start. Thermal paste has already been preapplied on the stock cooler bundled with CPU. Most motherboard brands supply only 2 SATA cables in box, which i feel just ideal for most users where you need just 1 for SSD and 1 for HDD. If you really need extra, you can just hoot from shop for $1-$2 per piece.

Why do you need 2 monitrs? Odd numbered monitors are preferred if you intend to span your gaming view throughout all monitors. Definitely not a good idea to have your crosshair halfway across your dual monitors.

Bro, let's say I also do VMware, Visual Studio and Android Studio also abit of Circuit board rendering too, is i3 still sufficent? Sorry for asking so many questions.
