I am not by any means a expert because i just came over to pc comm few years ago.

www(dot)imgur(dot)com/RiWr2Na(dot)png shows the benchmark for Battlefield 3 with 780 and some other cards like the 7970 and 7990. I got this from a website got Kotaku so i think it should be reliable.

All max settings and even higher settings than standard 1920x1080p. look for resolution at bot. of image.

If you are confused. What i mentioned the Powercolor 7870 is an AMD card. Geforce gtx780 is an nvidia card. And this 2 cards are very different. Anf of cause a huge price gap.

Yes no problem, you can upgrade the card in the long run. Probably last you a year and a half or 2. Depends on the gaming industries also.

Just google "7870 benchmark" can see quite a couple of sites.

Basically it goes by PCIE slot x16 for one card.

Look for PCIE x16 support.

That mobo is an EOSL mobo (end of service life). From the looks of it their latest drivers support up to max 2011.

Yes you are right. You still can use the card. But not up to the cards capability.

See even nipppon bro build is almost about the same.

So no point of you searching for EOL boards and trying to find the best pcie gen 3 support.

And boards + CPU must go hand in hand. What you search the P55 is based on LGA 1156.
