1) Define 'light gaming'. Name all games that your friend is playing.

2) State internet plan and model of router that your friend is using.

3) 450D very expensive ($179), not very sure if possible to fit into budget. 200R ($85) or Spec-03 ($89) can?

Read somewhere PCI Card is better over adapter, Possible to opt this out.
However linking the cable and run without bracket kinda untidy as the house have already been routed with wires in the ceiling with partition, moreover could not even route out where the electrical wire runs as well.

IMO for the MX100, the slight savings you get from buying from amazon as compared to obtaining it locally is not worth it considering if you require warranty in the future.

Anw you can also consider obtaining the psu (FSP Aurum), case (Deepcool) and ssd (MX100 - oos at the moment though) from lazada with further discounts and the hassle of lugging everything from sls. Otherwise your rig looks good to go though.

Thank you for the information.

MOBO + CPU : ASRock H81M-HDS + I5-4460 - TradePac $292
(Question, there's R2.0 and GL. What to pick?)

HDD : Toshiba 1TB 7200RPM - TradePac 3.5"=$64 and 2.5"=$73
(Question, get 3.5"/2.5"? HARDDISK?)

RAM : Crucial Value Ram 8GB 12800/16000 DDR3 CL11 - TradePac $97

SSD : Crucial MX100 256GB - $166
Lazada Crucial MX100 256GB SSD | Lazada Singapore

PSU : FSP AURUM S 500W - $89
FSP Aurum S 500W 80PLUS Gold | Lazada Singapore
(Kinda interested in SuperFlower HX600, however, would like to know which is more quieter?)

GPU : SAPPHIRE R9 280 3GB DUAL-X - $285
Sapphire Dual-X R9 280 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost (UEFI) | Lazada Singapore

CASE : Deepcool Tesseract - $69
Deepcool Tesseract Window ATX Case (Black/Blue) | Lazada Singapore

MONITOR : DELL S2340L - IT Show 2015

WINDOWS : HAVE - Exisiting
DRIVER : HAVE - Exisiting

Anyway noise from CPU usually came from PSU or GPU?
How does such a build fair?

Thank you experts :)

HDD get 3.5" since mounting in desktop.

Noise hard to say. Could be case fans running at high RPM

bro since you getting so many items from lazada recommend you get it today 10% dbs mastercard friday or just wait for the occasional $100 off $500 minimum spending.
remember to use shopback for another 2.5%, it stacks with everything

The Dbs 10% is auto deduct on checkout. How to get the 2.5% shop back?

The 2.5% shopback, you got to sign up with shopback.com and access lazada from there for shopback to track the transactions and give you a 2.5% cashback redeemable after sometime. You can get one of the bros here to refer you for shopback and get additional $5 in your account once you make a transaction.

For TS, since your Lazada items hit $600+, suggest you wait for one of their $100 off $500 coupon promos rather than $10% with DBS mastercard.
