Make sure you get the original involve otherwise local service centers might not take in your laptop if you need to claim international warranty.

The keyboard layout might be slightly different from the usual one that you may be familiar with... also power cable will definitely be different from our local 3 pin plug...

I order 2 years ago. Its' pretty good. The spec are better, price cheaper and no GST. Laptop price plus forward, save S$200 plus. Singapore selling S$699 and I got mine below S$450. Go to SLS, the seller told me yours is International warranty, so I ask what the difference? Can't answer me. my laptop never gave me trouble till today. In fact, when spoiled, will buy again from Amazon.

Jus wanna ask another qns. The USA voltage operate on 110v vs us sg 240v,do we need to gt a step up transformer? Or jus gt local sg adaptor can already? Thanks. Ya best is gt a laptop that has international warranty,n free shipping from Amazon:-D Wow that looks like its alot of cost savings, though I dun need such a gd laptop jus studying in uni. Im looking at asus mid ranged laptops, over there they have 8gb ram+256gb ssd and the price similar to sg(local sets only 4gb ram n 500gb hdd).

Just to help you with some answers:

1) The adaptor supports both voltage input

2) For purchases more than $400, there will be a 7% GST at Singapore custom

3) Warranty is only 1 year international for MSI

4) There is a service charge of $120 for overseas unit even though it is under international warranty.

:)

if you're buying a laptop the ac adapter usually supports 110-220v - as the expectation is that you carry the laptop round the world -- its portable.

Buy online or when in USA. Better yet, buy during Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Every time I go to Best Buy, I see the prices of laptops until dulan. Sigh.
