Eating clean starts now man. Couldn't make up my mind on which brand of rolled oats, so I bought the one with the zip lock.

Edit: read that rolled oat taste like crap, shall give it a try tomorrow. any input on how to make it taste better?

it doesn't taste like crap. more of very bland and tasteless.

1) just suck it up and eat.
2) add a little natural honey
3) add an egg or two

Is it advisable to add fruits like blueberries/strawberries/bananas to protein shake?

I'm taking ON delicious strawberry

I don't kinda like plain water with the powder.

Though it taste great with milk, any brand, trying to avoid milk.

Er, if you need the calories/carbs then yea, otherwise I think with plain water is best.

again NO MILK. since you're trying to lose weight. For gaining weight it is ok.

manage your calorie intake as in, so long as adding the fruits doesn't increase your caloric intake to the point of being more than your caloric expenditure, you'll still continue to lose weight. fruits are good anyway. apples and berries have lots of antioxidants

Try to get organic when you can. Apples are one of the most toxic fruits in the sense that farmers use the most pesticides in growing them. If youre looking for just antioxidants/fibre/micronutrients, id suggest an organic greens drink.

Sure, you can add fruits in them if you blend them in a blender. Not so much in a shaker bottle though.

Yup, thought so too. Probably just blend it when I'm home. Not too much applicable after gym. Thinking of how to make the drink nicer.

I don't think I'm able to get that much organic stuff in NTUC. Looking for berries like strawberries and blueberries.

Organic apples are pretty rampant nowadays, even in ntuc. Pretty affordable too(to me lah, cause i dont eat that many apples/fruits a day so it would last quite a few days if i bought it), around $6-9/kg iirc. Blueberries have their seasons, something they get pretty cheap too.

Just finished half a bottle of my shake. Taste.. still bad. Really feel like adding the HL milk/ meiji pasteurized milk to make it better.

it's a shake so you can gulp it down with no problem. the real problem is when you really wanna gain mass and have to eat crap loads of food... trust me when I say tuna and sardines taste much worse
