Can anyone recommend a basic wired mouse that is durable?

Bought a logitech m100r about a week ago and its already causing me problems with a squeaky mousewheel, and now its making a very loud "TAP" sound when i left click (right click is fine). I've never had a mouse develop problems this quickly before, not sure if this model is just low quality or something else.

Anyone got recommendations on a basic durable wired mouse? Not looking for an expensive gaming mouse.

logitech quality is getting worse.

why not splurge abit on the gaming mouse

the ergonomics is also much better could be better for your wrists long term and save on any possible healthcare costs

im so happy w my zowie ec wired i find it hard to replace w the newer ultra light wireless mice

Those days when you nuy an expensive mouse, you're paying for performance and durable.
Nowdays just get a decent mouse at a decent price and it's price is low enough to replace when you need to..

An example, difference people difference use. My logictech m100r already about 6 years. And like you i brought one failed product that pass qc check and just get another one.

Seems like TS is a heavy user using less than $10 mouse for gaming etc.
Basic mouse won't last seriously but I do have a couple of M100R
which till today can work no issue.

Not sure did you brought original or fake as there are a lot of fake on Shopee.

It really depend on your usage if you are a heavy gamer which clearly you are.
You can't really save on a mouse get a mouse more durable with warranty.
Any mouse if you use long term wise will start to have sneaky sound.

Cheapest gaming mouse is Logitech G203 around $3X.

If $30 you don't have just ask around see anyone got any spare mouse.
How long the mouse really depend how you use.

Im not sure if i want a gaming mouce tbh. I dont like all the extra buttons and it looks like the way i place my thumb on the mouse would be directly over the side buttons. Any durable mouse without side buttons, etc?

As shared don't have, it all depend how you use it.
If you very heavy user any mouse won't last.

Just get any from shop if spoil claim warranty simple as that.
More expensive mouse like this one which I am using.

The side button is very useful, it is use to press forward and back useful for surfing internet.

if you're conservative type like me regarding the bell and whistle of modern mouse. Just go for well known brand like HP, dell or logictech basic model. Rather that looking for mouse at midnight.

The one u have is obviously a faulty set... the one that @caterham7 uses has no problems. I remember u posted before in this thread that u asked the shop/seller if they have any more stock of M100r but they said no more so I thought u didn't mind getting another new set but I think u must have deleted that post already

Not all Chinese brands of electronics are lousy... many of the OEMs are made in China anyway...
