Are gaming mice suitable for non-gaming use?

No negative aspects to using as a normal mouse. If same price, will probably go for the gaming mouse.

need to stock up on mouse, my mouses spoilt between 6-9 mths, either the left click getting too loosen or the scroll wheel not functioning well...
