Do consider the historical total returns and potential total returns.

A reit that gives 6% yield + 1% capital appreciation is inferior compared to a stock that gives 0% yield + 12% capital appreciation.
You are right so that's why i am trying to get into XUS which is S&P but I intend to get only 30 percent exposure to it.

The rest I will stick to my Singapore dividend shares

Portfolio & Net Worth Table September 2026

Total Net Worth$460,304.79
I just wanted to say that this is not your "net worth".

You need to add your cash, bonds, other types of investments, as well as both your Singapore and Malaysia property valuations less the outstanding mortgages.

too much analysis towards the wrong direction
Any comment ?

I can't buy the idea to sell stock to fund my lifestyle...

So that's why I can't accept to fully only do indexing ...

Even my networth grows to a significant amount

I still can't accept to sell the assets to fund my lifestyle that's why I do dividend investments too

Not so updated but the above is my portfolio a while back on moo moo

I had added some DFiRG into it recently
And it is almost all red because of the concentration in REITs
You can try copy paste portfolio photo to ChatGPT and find out what it says

look ahead like 3-5 years ... use imagination

lets say the future have 2 path .... AI succeed or AI fail

your bets are mostly concentrated for AI to fail and old economy to continue as usual .......... for the trillions poured into making AI smarter to fail entirely

but in the scenario if AI succeed .... how do reits continue to get sufficient tenant if office reduce size and goes to AI agents ...... less payrolls how to support monthly home loan installment and shopping mall spending
how will you react when get stuck inside a sinking ship and unwilling to jump out

the sub 1% tickers (under 4k value) might as well don't list it .... too small effect of "cushion" .... no need to buy all 11 sectors ... it only make u feel good but real effect not there , like using a string as safety belt .... you already over concentrate on property sector so no need to pretend you following "online expert's" strategy to diversify into 11 sectors ...... not intended to be offensive , just my straightforward message

Then make sure u do not ignore total returns. You have to choose stocks which have positive (ideally also increasing) total returns and which gives out a large part of it in dividends / distributions. No point investing in high dividends stocks but their market value decrease, then you are basically getting back your own money and could even be losing money. Local banks are good for now and probably YLD in SGX.

Warren Buffett said diversity make very little sense for those who know what they are doing and serve as protection as ignorance. That is what TS is trying to do, a bit here and there to try to rojak everything.

Do you recalled how our government blessed the opening of the Tuas MRT station?

Get 10 religious leaders... All come together , confirmed one correct...

On my moomoo account

My reits had positioned below 50 percent of my total moomoo holding

Reits used to be good from 2009 to 2019.

Anyway my next move will be into UXS instead of trying to out-think the markets

Sinking ships or not, let it be ... As I am already on the ship.
