With many major upgrades as compared to S95:
Digic 5, 12MP, 24mm-120mm, 2.3fps unlimited continuous drive, full hd recording (24fps), can zoom during video recording, new video recording button, GPS tagging, a bit thinner but a bit taller, n still f2.

To be available in Nov, US$430.

The spec look good.
My s95 lens gear broke, if the repair costs are too high, might go for the s100.

The Canon S100 will be available only from late Nov or early Dec.

Probably with the Sitex 2011 show :)

s100 should be better as it belonged to the top range for compact camera..

Hi All,

Any idea who does the S100 compares to Canon IXUS 1100HS ?
IXUS is normal consumer-class - fully auto n mayb limited manual adjustment.
S & G series is prosumer-class - fully auto plus manual adjustment (eg. speed/f-stop/ISO).
