You can buy ecapitavouchers with those stars. The expiry of ecapitavouchers is different from stars. IIRC ecapitavouchers expiry is shorter, something like 3 months I think. So you get some extention.

I've encounter a shop that although indicated on capitastar website to accept it but declined payment using eCapitaVoucher when I was there though. I suspect the cashier there didn't know how to use it...

Yea. Same but only those with amex captialcard then can have physical voucher... must show at redemption counter.

The app also say if you hv amex capitacard then can redeem phyiscal vouchers... yes I tried with the card can be done. Need show the amex card and with the app they can redeem phyiscal vouchers for you...

Register your Passioncard using the app, then select "Explore more rewards", scroll till you see those items you can redeem with "4,500 STAR$", you should see a $5 Capland voucher option.

I just redeemed 2 capita $5 vouchers with 4500X 2 after linking passion card. There is a limited qty opened every month and max you can redeem is 2. So you can login in the beginning of every month and redeem 2 vouchers. The vouchers have validity of 1yr so should be good.

I just found out how to use the sp services app to redeem capita vouchers at discount. I am at sprout level and it is easy to reach this level, everyone can reach,just complete some easy tasks, you can redeem the vouchers with 20% discount of stars.

This is even better than the passion card.

I just redeemed all my some 126k stars for about $150 vouchers

Wanted to share an image but not sure how to. Anyway i managed to combine Star$ and ecapitalvoucher to make payment. I offset away all my shillings in Star$ and pay the rest via ecapitalvoucher. So glad they allow us to use up the shillings in Star$ this way

CapitaMall needs to step up on their maintenance of their orange machine. a few times want to use my eCapitaVoucher, the machine spoil. end up pay other modes. surely there's a way to detect which machines are offline/down in this time as it needs to connect online in order to work.

thought the orange machine is just for merchant to double check they received the voucher. can still use evoucher if you show your phone screen upon successful payment and the merchant trust you.

the trust part is the issue. i went to a repair shop with an experienced cobbler inside no doubt his skills or knowledge, but he does not accept the eCapitaVoucher as machine was down. he also shared that once someone asked for a refund, and he/his managers had a very difficult time trying to help their cust process the refund for the portion paid via eCapitaVoucher. team doing the refund at Capita are almost non-existent based on his feedback
