I’m totally new to CardUp and intend to use it once I receive my BOC family card. Just to check, if I make a CardUp payment of $1000, how will the CardUp fees be reflected in my credit card bill? $1000+26=$1026 charge on my CC or as a separate transaction charge on my CC?

1026 will be charged - it won't appear as a separate amount.

if this is your first cardup transaction, remember to use someone's referral code. It will save you a large fee amount. If this is not your first transaction, there is a Boc promo code which reduces the fee to 2.1% for BOC card holders until the ens of this month. I think the promo code is "BOCCASH" - if it does not work, check on BoC website.

The promotion period is just for the promo code. The T&C remains unchanged after 31 Oct. Remember that BOC did give rebates for cardup transactions before this promotion - so we should expect BOC to continue giving rebates after 31 Oct.

From advice of others here, I hv used referral codes for $20 discount first, & also took advantage of 1.9% condo fee & 0.52% fee promos.

Whats the best way of paying all the above - $24k equates to approx $600 of transaction fees that i've to pay cardup.

I'm wondering if the moderators could relax the current position on asking for/giving referral codes in this thread. Many of us have benefited from either giving or receiving referral codes before the policy was enforced strictly here and some of us still have referrals to be able to give to new users and benefit both. Perhaps if the concern is spam, we could think of some more elegant way to do this so everyone can benefit from this communications platform?
