Looks like party is over for CardUp, following the stopping of IRAS monthly payments and now with BOC dropping its Internet spend rebate. So assuming u charge $1000 to CardUp to earn $4, is it worth the trouble?

yeah, sucks. after agreeing to paying partial af, now this!

so... where's their 11.11 promo?

Users who have received the promo code via email from CardUp and have not yet scheduled a payment are eligible to enjoy $11 off the CardUp fee on up to 11 payments in a recurring schedule. Each payment in the recurring schedule must be a minimum of $500. (“User”).
The Promo Code may only be redeemed once per User on the first recurring schedule set up.
The Promo Code is only valid on the 11th November 2018, from 00:00 to 23:59
The payment due date of the last payment in the recurring schedule must be between 16 November 2018 and 31 October 2019 (both dates inclusive). The payment due date is the last date on which the payment must arrive at the recipient. Payments must be scheduled on CardUp at least 5 business days in advance of the due date to allow for processing time.
Users must enter promo code 1111DEAL during “Schedule Payment” process when setting up payment details. The discounted fee (i.e. $11 off the CardUp fee for each payment of minimum $500 in a recurring schedule) for the eligible payment(s) scheduled will be reflected before User confirms and submits payment.
Payments made are non-refundable. User is responsible for ensuring that all details are accurate before submitting the payment.
Promo Codes are not applicable for use on:
(a) payments made with American Express credit cards and credit cards issued outside of Singapore
(b) weekly recurring schedules

Only for selected user? Must be new user? When did you receive the email?

There is smart sharing and there is the opposite of it.
Anyway, just be wise about what to share or not....as much it is to help others, it would not help those who took the risk to try.So net help = 0

I currently using ocbc 365 card. But dun think it's worth using it for cardup. I also hv SCB world MasterCard, maybank family & friends, maybank visa horizon.

I'm prepared to get new card if it can give me better rebates :)

Only UOB One Card is worth it. Must spend $2000 for 3 months in a row, though.

Oic. But to spend $2000 for 3 mths in a row may b abit difficult.

Maybe need to rethink abt this

if you spend $500 for 3 months in a row, you get 3.33% cashback. Deduct away CardUp's 2.6% fee, you are left with 0.73% rebate .

Honestly, any savings is good coz i got to pay my installment anyway... with or without cardup. But of course, it's the case of the more the merrier :)

Maybank platinum Visa also gives you 3.33%, so I guess it's between UOB One Card and Maybank.

Can I still pay cardup using Citibank Premiermiles cc to earn air miles?
Is season parking, insurance, taxes (income, road tax) something that we can pay as well with Premiermiles via cardup?
Seasoned senior members here, please advise me. Thanks!

As long as u are able to pay all these via cardup, yes they attract miles.
