as of now, for boc family card,
1. is cardup still an online transaction getting 5%?
2. is cardup counted as qualifying spend towards the $500?

Yes, that's what they (BOC) is currently promoting as a discounted 2% cardup fee (until 31 Oct), with 5% online rebate using family card. Of course this is counted within $500 credit card spend.

For the $20 promo of first transaction, does it mean that the transaction must be $800 and above to enjoy the full $20 discount?

Can i check after u referred someone, how long did it take for you to be able to use the $20 thankyou promo code? I was still not able to use the thankyou promo code after more than a week.
