1. So if if cardup amt of $700 (wef 23 Apr), we get $30 rebate right? Count towards $500 spent for BOC Smartsaver right?

Just CardUp $600 is sufficient. Additional $100 will not get rebates due to cap on Online transactions. Counts towards CC spend criteria for SmartSaver

2. Why use BOC debit to pay credit card via maxs? Is there any benefit?

Debit card gives additional 0.1% rebate. I haven’t managed to get both m-AXS or e-AXS to work though

3. Does Cardup work with BOC Zaobao which gives 10% rebates for online?

CardUp doesn’t accept UnionPay which Zaobao Card uses. Other card to consider is the UOB One (rebate 3.33-5%) or Maybank Platinum Visa (rebate 3.33%)

Hi, my apologies if this has been asked as I do see some related examples in the preceding pages. If I pay my condo maintenance on a quarterly basis, can I get cardup to charge BoC Family card (half the amount) say 2 months in advance for the 2 months and tell them to pay my MCST the first day of every quarter? Possible?

You can schedule the payments by choosing which dates you want MCST to receive the money (ie Payment Due Date) and how much to pay.

Payments need to be scheduled individually

Your BOC card will be charged 1 week before (ie Payment Charged date) the Payment Due Date.

Just take note of your Card statement dates when setting Due dates.

I usually just pay in advance.

Cardup would not help to consolidate the charges and make one lump sum payment to the recipient on another date. They will process each scheduled payment individually.
To have a smooth transition, at the beginning, better inform the recipient about this change.

Do you break up your payment into 2 tranches? Cardup will need to attach the payment advice to the cheque isn't it? Will it cause confusion to the MCST?

I make multiple payments to MCST, usually different amounts each month, depending on promo code available & card spend amount.

As long as you have your name and/or unit number in the payment reference, it shld not be difficult for MCST to trace.

If it's your first payment to MCST via CardUp, also make sure the MCST bank details are correct.

Dont think Cardup issue cheque to pay MCST .. it's all bank transfers

Anyone else with issues scheduling income tax payment? Used to be able to do monthly deduction but now seems to be single payment only

seems like there's only "one-off" payment option for income tax, only started using this recently so didn't encounter recurring payment arrangement :s13:
