If you did not set up the IRAS payment immediately in April, how do you use CardUp or Citi Payall to pay remaining installment payments? Just schedule payments one at a time?

Seriously don't understand what are you talking about? Did you setup the GIRO Plan with IRAS or not? If no then pay in full else pay in installments.

What happens if:

1) you set up a IRAS installment plan for income tax last April and your monthly tax installment payments are set

2) you did not set up a matching CardUp or Citi Payall installment payment instruction last April

Do you just instruct single payments to pay each remaining tax installment?

Yes but you can only instruct one single payment (not installment or multiple payment) at a time?

It won't accept a single payment of the same type (ex. tax) for a different date while the first one is pending, at least for Citi Payall.

you can just setup cardup to pay monthly payment and you can also set the amt.

any remaining amount will be deducted via normal IRAS GIRO

for eg if say you want to use maybank platnimum visa which gives 3.33% cashback max $1K/mth.
you can set cardup to pay your income tax $1K via <Maybank card.
if your tax bill is >$1K/mth, remaining balance will be deducted via GIRO.

Maybe I don't know how to use the interface.

Could I request your advice on how to do this:

1) Assume a person is paying total income tax of S$36,000, in 12 installments of S$3,000 each.

2) May 2023 payment of S$3,000 was made to IRAS via GIRO.

3) How can this person use CardUp to make these payments via credit card:

a) June 30, S$3,000

b) July 28, S$3,000

c) August 30, S$3,000

Does he instruct installment payments then cancel after August? Is it possible to instruct 3 single payments with these dates?

when you setup in Cardup you can indicate monthly payment and when is first payment ( 30 june ) and when is last payment (30 Aug).

Hi bro hwmook,

I think I know what bro Londonbowler is asking. He is saying assuming the tax period is May 23 to Apr 24. So assuming you are already paying your tax monthly using giro, is it possible to now switch to cardup? Meaning to say you setup cardup and then IRAS continue to deduct from giro so resulting in double pay? Something along this line?

You just need to setup your cardup to pay 1 week earlier then the giro will never trigger.

Hi everyone,
I have tried searching this thread for "Singapore Life" but no results, so I'm asking here.

Does anyone know if I can pay Singapore Life (or Singlife) insurance premium with cardup?
Specifically, pay to Singapore Life Ltd.’s UOB bank account

thanks..
