Top: 1010
Bottom from left: Westone, Fitear, Sennheiser standalone with tray removed, Momentum IE with tray removed.

Westone is smallest, probably the best optimised space + hardcase protection with minimum worry of IEM linglong inside. Won't be good for stiffer cables nor CIEM.

Fitear case with BW. Snug fit. May not be comfortable for some. Lots of space with stock cable (above pic). Risk of crushing should be low.

1010 with BW. More space and most secure hardcase protection.

This one from Yurbuds serves me perfectly well. Right size with good height, I dun have to worry about my Miracle getting crushed.
Will fit in any cables fine too. Even has a webbed pocket for me to slip in a packet of desiccant beads to absorb moisture.

Based on the pictures, i am thinking the AT-HPP300 case is around the size of the 4th case fr the left excluing the pelican.

Your custom cable iems put in the pelican case is just nice the size. Cos the cable are thick enuff to prevent your iems from linglong while in the case.

Not only my CIEM, i've also put the cleaning brush and cloth inside.

Pelican 1010 is one of the good cases around, especially if you are considering to upgrade your cable to thicker ones in future.

Say if you are current using the monitor vault from Westone and decided to upgrade you cables, you may find yourself in the position that you need a bigger case, hence spending twice when you can spend once on a good size case.

One option is to get the pelican case and put in a piece of foam, and in the foam, cut out different sections for iem and dap. The foam will not only be able to secure both units in place, but will prevent them from bumping into each other and can also absorb shock.

I see the 1010 is really really small. Kang kor to put dx90 + CIEM :(

A comparison of the Pelican micro case series, being placed side by side:

If you want to keep both the DAP + CIEM in one case, you are definitely looking at 1040, 1050 and 1060; with foams cut into 2 sections to keep your DAP and CIEM separately, and also to prevent your CIEM from being crushed/scratched by your DAP.

I looked up the AT-HPP300 case dimensions. It's almost exactly the same as the Sennheiser standalone case, 3rd from left.

Nice. Thanks. Then it should be a good size for my iems.

There's one thing uncertain though... If you see AT website's drawing + dimensioning, it has a side view opened out flat. Drawing looks equally halved. It indicated one of the half with a 18mm height. Assume the other half is the same, overall height should be 36mm, which is about the actual height of the Senn case. However the numerical height stated in another line reads 40mm. So dunno where the extra comes from. Then again the inner tray height is 30mm, which is about 3-4mm higher than the Senn inner tray. :s13:

The 90x90 square is about there.

:s13: 4mm makes no difference. Thanks anyway for giving me an idea for the size of the AT-HPP300.
