For these type of people, it is not easy to change their minds as their lives are smoothgoing.

I have one old uncle in the gym telling me PAP is good, asking me why you young people so anti-PAP?! After I tried to counter his views, he scolded me 你不知死活？！meaning you have no idea what **** you are getting into...

One thing I have to admit is that PAP has made our educational system so successful such that we cannot think out of the box. It's only when we see more youngsters setting up businesses and becoming creative then we can expect to see a change in our political situation here.

I think they are only being rational, like what you mentioned, their lives are good. then why want to make it worse? We know PAP well but do you really know the opposition well?

I believe most voters are very simple-minded.

They will accept at face value whatever is written in the newspapers or on national TV. When the PM, DPM and some senior ministers are repeatedly claiming WP has been dishonest and irresponsible in dealing with Town Council issues, it becomes truth to them.

WP is too gullible to say that the eyes of the voters are bright and discerning. They think too highly of voters who are mostly ordinary folks who can be manipulated like sheep.
