Anyone have experience with Effenz ceiling fans? Was recommended by my usual shop but I’ve never heard of this brand before. Any reviews,

No opinions?

I was using Samaire in my old place.. found it to be good, a lot of air moved and quite reliable also. Price about 1/2 of the Effenz which I see is sold in quite a few places now but I've not heard of it as I've not changed fans in a while.

The 1uF/2uF MKP capacitors of the fan remote module at the ceiling cover is faulty if you know how to repair.
If not replace the remote control and the module.

anyone bought from yafen before? their rating on Google seems extremely good for some reason

Read HWZ Forum Rules!
some users have patronized, generally OK

as for the Google review, it could be they incentive customer to leave good review for them (in the form of discount or something else), or it could be "manufactured" to a certain extent

some merchants engage in such practices, even though it may not be entirely false, it's somewhat skewed in their favor...reminds me of a ramen store located near Lasalle, reviews were pretty darn good, turns out they offer free drink if you leave positive feedback on Google for them (before u even start eating)...as for the food, it wasn't horrible, but extremely ordinary and certainly, nothing like wad most the reviews wrote LOL so take such reviews with a pinch of salt

You'll need a pretty big living room.. might be too big for a condo / HDB...

Suggest you have 2 ceiling fans (distanced/spaced) in the
Iiving and dining area. You will get better air flow (if both are switched on) as compared to one 72" fan. Also the 72" fan will be too big for a hdb ceiling height. You won't get the optimized air flow in the entire area if the fan is installed in the middle of the living/dinning area. Having 2 fans also mean you cam switch on either one whenever you need it. Better electrical efficiency/consumption usage.

i had a FFM3000 48″ & the speed is starting to get slow.

Suspect the capacitor is going end of life soon.

Do any one know the value of capacitor to this unit & is it a normal 2 wires type or more ?
