Not satisfied, rework waste everyone's time
Yes I have done that to electrician/contractors

You are dealing with a different kind of workers, you need to be on-site for certain works, else you will regret it.
Unless you have $$$ to spare to hire a project manager to oversee the whole work

High expectations / Fussy Customer is almost always like that.

Hi all, im considering Fanco fans Tributo (46") and Heli (56"). Are these 2 models good and reliable? Tested both at Tampoi, seems like Tributo is abit noisy..

Can advise other brands like Daiko?

Hi guys, I see all talk about KDK.

How about Mistral / khind brand ceiling fans? Anyone can kindly share experience?

They seem to be similar popular, reliable fan brands in Malaysia.

I took a gamble and purchased remote control ceiling fans with lights for all my rooms and living room. Total 4 units. So far no safety issues. Not say recommending, but really love the remote control functions. And so much cheaper.

i recently lost my fan remote, they quoted me $100 for replacement. I was thinking instead of buying their stupid replacement, i can convert my fan to a smart driver app type at $20 SGD. But I honestly have no experience in it. anyone done it can share their experience?

Do your existing fan have physical speed control via wire or only via remote? This probably won't work if its on remote only. If its on remote only, try getting Tuya RF+IR controller instead, configuration will be another thing.

Looking to purchase either the Haiku L-Series or Spin Espada Series (52” without LED). Any owners of either able to provide some feedback about it? Thank you!

Yes I have done it before for my ceiling fan due to fan speed issues . It is fairly easy to install, YouTube has multiple videos on it. One thing to take note of is after you’ve changed the module, there is a chance this black colour module thing cannot fit inside your fan the cone cover due to its size. I managed to do it but there’s like a 1-2cm gap to the ceiling.

As for the Tuya smart driver thing, I am not too sure how it works- the $8 module I bought from Shopee below is a direct like for like remote module replacement so it’s just pure RF433. I saved the on and off and various fan speed RF frequencies to my Broadlink hub and I am able to control it via the Broadlink app and Google home.

changed for my old non-smart fan and pair it - quite straightforward.

For $100 remote, can consider buy new DC fan below $200 with installation, new warranty, clean fan, new led light and new remote.
Also can change the remote and receiver, DIY or carohell for handyman.

I only had 1 fanco. I think no wind. So now don’t intend to buy fanco. But price is cheap
U installed in living room or bedroom? I just ordered 1 for study room, I think small enclosed area should be fine. I read reviews on Lazada and shopee, most reviews seems ok. My friends got fanco fans, they seems happy with it too. Same friend who got fanco and KDK, complained KDK no wind

What about the remote? Why RF no good?
