Ceiling Fan Recommendation

Anyone brought KDK fans from JB?
Looking at K12UX 48" for rooms and K15UW 60" for living room.

Both fans the lighting is it ok?

After seeing some recommendations here, I went to light avenue to test it out some of the fans (leant towards smart fans). Sharing my experiences here as it might be helpful to some.

brands i tried: Efenz, Alaska, PO, Bestar, Fanco.

Efenz (46" and 52") - i feel one of the best fans among the one i tried. The air circulation seems quite good, and when I step away from the blades, my lower part of my body can feel the air breeze and it is quiet as well. the app seems well polished.

Alaska (Burah, Curah) - air circulation very similar to Efenz, lower part of my body also can feel the breeze, and quiet. app interface seems less polished than Efenz. Was told efern/easpen are the smart version, but didnt try it (didnt like the hugger look) as based on the blades structure should be less effective than Burah/Curah.

PO (cant remember which model I tried) - the wind is stronger than Efenz and Alaska but only directly under the fan (within the blade area). Stronger wind also means it is slightly noisier.

Bestar (Vito 3) - wind is definitely stronger than Efenz and Alaska, but weaker than PO. And the wind breeze only concentrated within the fan area only. It is noisier as well; app seems decent as well.

Fanco (Rito 3) - heard that it is quite similar to Vito 3, but light is non- dimmable.

in the end, I get:
1. Curah for LV (choose this instead of Efenz, due to aesthetic reason only)
2. Burah for BR3 (same as above reason)
3. Vito 3 40" for BR2 (this room not frequent use, so using a lower end fan instead and max 40" size limit).

Thx for sharing. I am looking at ceiling fans too. Ageeed with you on efenz and it is also the most expensive and feature rich. I am keen to buy it for LV but then i also need 2 for balcony area. If all buy efenz quite xiong.

yea, too xiong if buy efenz. if balcony is enclosed area, i feel any 38" fans will do.

im also looking for ceiling fan. Though dont really need it to be smart, just good to have. Which one you decided on in the end? Im looking for living room fan with led so i need 52 at least.

for my living room, I decided to use Curah 52", which has tri + dimmable led light. otherwise u can consider 60" Efenz if budget allow.

60 is to big

Above 50 below 60 should be only 52 inch or 56 inch..

size depends on your living room, no such things as too big. 22W is way too small for most living room if not supported by other light. Probably good for a up to 4x4m with the other area noticeable dimmer already.

Higher watt/bigger is better, if too bright still can change to small one but not the other way round especially for ceiling fan light.

I took 62” PO for Living because its reasonable price for the size ($4xx).

strong wind directly under the fan but longer blade so area covered also bigger.

to me, it is bright enough as I still have track light to brighten the LR. if space allow, why not get the 60".

Went to see the Efenz isaac hugger.

Seems good enough but near 1k for 52".

Any reviews?

Crush, Burah and Efenz all look similar lei. But if all same then get Alaska lo. Cheaper also. Malaysia will be cheaper or not? If at the price of $700+, go JB buy kdk at $400 huat kwey!

functional wise, it is the same. if you say appearance, it is different, very subjective from person to person.
i went malaysia to see b4, most just recommend you to get Fanco due to the warranty. Personally I dont like the look and color of KDK, so bo bian, have to pay more.

I thought those few models u mentioned looks similar lei. At least to me.

burah and curah different by size. curah and alaska different by the hugger look (the wind feels differrent also). curah and efenz different by blade design (color or wood grain).

at least to me, the differences between brands can be spotted if you want to, just that "is it important to you or not".

I am using exactly the same reason +more design and closer to ceiling, 72W is combine both color, output is not anything near a single color 36W. 36W alone is enough to fully cover average squarish bedroom. Anything from China direct is at your own risk. $70-100 per fan depending on size, another $40-80 if u require handyman to install.
