Ceiling Fan Recommendation

Hi all I have been doing research for the last few days and reading the posts here as I am planning to purchase a 50-60 inch ceiling fan for my living room. I feel like trying Aeratron but read alot of bad reviews of washer coming off if not installed properly. Feel like buying back haiku L series but price point not cheap

thus need advice and help here. Thanks

1. Aeratron AE3+ (contacted Tampoi for pricing as well as locally)

2. Haiku ( personally used it before and it lasted 4 years before it broke down and spoil, bamboo series)

3. KDK Airy 48 inch but not sure if wind is strong enough for a 48 inch at living room. The bigger fans are ugly.

Firstly, strike KDK off the list. You will regret it. Both Haiku and Aeratron are from Phylux. Quite steady if you have a lot of money to throw. My friends and I bought PO fan and it is good. Strong wind, sleek no horse run design and value for money. Here is a good review and I somewhat agree with what he says

Anyone has tried Mistral ceiling fans before? Have been using their standing fans which are not bad but haven't really heard much about their ceiling fans.

i'm using that for my kitchen, use my climate vouchers to offset it. So far so good, lights can be dimmed, fans no noise and quiet. I've got the 36 inch solar version, looks sleek in design

Went to try haiku and sales person recommended aeratron due to the cyclone effect take note is the newest model ae+2s. Was impressed waiting for next shipment as sold out currently. Any others to consider?

You can reference the specs of Aeraton vs Point Technology. Today fan is ultra powerful with power coverage. Initially I plan to buy Aeraton fan because it looks quite chio.

(1) Have concern about the wind speed
(2) Worry about the reliability
(3) Cost of Aeratron is $800+ vs PO $500+
(4) Some Reddit review quite jialat

Considering this, decided to go for cheaper option. And didn’t regret because PO is cheap and good

Thanks for sharing will go try PO. The Aeratron older one really had no air movement. But the new one has a super wide spread way beyond it's wingspan. Haiku I series was definitely the best in terms of cyclone natural wind effect in a big space. I feel specs no use must go and try and feel how it is haha.

In my opinion, specs very important. Previously, my kdk has no wind and the engineer measure the rotation speed vs the theoretical speed and they changed a new fan for me.

Haiku I know the bamboo series got no wind. I think the L series is not bad. Aeratron 2 blade I think weaker than 3 blade but 2 blade is nicer

no la, i have been using aeraton for over 10 plus years with no issues. in my previous place, i installed 3 sets. All purchased from JB tampoi. it used to be really cheap but now they jacked it up significantly. the last i check 60 inch is about 2000 RM.

Rm2000? Then should get from SG which is selling at $800+. If you appear 6 months ago, maybe I hoot 8 Aeratron. lol! Don’t dare to install after reading Reddit

Mine all cheap options so used Samaire for two common bedroom. Fanco for living room, AeroAir for MBR, Crestar for dining and study.
Fanco started giving problems after about 5 years, AeroAir after barely 2 years.

Recently replaced the AeroAir with Samaire since the two Samaire in the common room still working perfectly, only gripe is they only had 3 speed settings. The new model has 6 speeds, have dimmer and remember light settings so is much better. Also replaced the Fanco with a Bestar.

Don't ask me why never all use same brand

For the mistral fan in my Kitchen, I've been using for around 4 to 5 months since.
Recently I've replaced one of my ceiling lights in one of my bedroom to KDK F48GP. I chose that because it has moonlight; a very dim light that set the mood to sleep.

My living room and another bedroom are fanco fans, both have been using for more than 4 years. One of the fanco is brought in Malaysia while the other in Singapore.

KDK fan in my room, breeze is not that high.
