I bought 5 elmark fans via phylux and 3 fans gone rusty after 3yrs+. Outer layer of the ceiling mount gone rusty and peeling off exposing the metal parts...CALLED BOTH AND THEY SAID IS USUAL WEAR AND TEAR! I PAID $399 EACH FOR BAD QUALITY FANS. SO UPSETTING.

Tot elmark is quite good lei.

I use one before for more than 5 years still solid

Hi i would like to replace my living room ceiling fan as i noticed that the air circulation from it is not reaching some places such as my dining table.. unless you are below the fan, then u can really feel the wind.

Would like to ask if the contractor provide any site survey then recommend on what type of fan to get?

What are the things to look for when getting a ceiling fan?

Sorry am quite noob here as my house was a resale purchase and i did not replace the fan yet.

I got my Fanco fans from Shopee! I think is cheaper to buy online especially now got all the sales and everything, you apply coupon after coupon then can get good savings. Then just hire someone to fix it for you! My cousin is a contractor so I got him to help.

this usually handled by electrican. if you are installing your ceiling fan on false ceiling, then your contractor has to check if the false ceiling can support

You can try carousell for service bah. I tried one at $40 for first ceiling fan installation with existing PowerPoint.

Any bros here can recommend a ceiling fan for the hall? I shortlisted the KDK U48fp and Crestar Valueair 48 inch 5 blade. Any views on these 2 fans?

I have the KDK, it's a decent fan, but it's not too big.. if you can fit a 52", that will give you more airflow.
You can look for grey imports, they will be cheaper. But with the travel ban, prices have gone up a lot.

I'm using a 60inch Fan for my living room. Could go to 66inch. I pretty much like fanco motor power. It's stronger than bestar. If you can do 66inch, get the fanco heli pro

any feedback on effenz ceiling fan?

any feedback on effenz ceiling fan? they have both hugger and rod version, i see the dimension, both are same from top to bottom, so wondering what is the difference? as I understand hugger usually is meant for low ceiling.
