first time using ceiling fans, installed kdk recently. friends who came over say wind feels softer/more soothing on the skin as compared to their fanco, point one, 1more brand which i cant rmb.

wind strength wise, their feedback was fanco is stronger, point one and other brand about same,

any 48" ceiling fan to recommend? currently using fanco
KDK E48HP

Do see if you can go bigger though, bigger does make a difference.

haiku has 52”, Kdk has 48” and 56”

KDK still the only choice? Which brands are close? Because KDK really pricey and the one I have the wind not really strong like my amasco which no longer available.

My mum's place has KDK R48SP, while my place Aeroair AA335 (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large). KDK is weaker than all my Aeroair.

My mum decided on KDK instead of other brands, cos she firmly believes KDK is very durable and good, which I won't deny. But I feel its wind speed/performance has deteriorated over the years and it's overpriced.

I went down to a few shops to compare the performance of various brands and found Aeroair to be the strongest. Its of decent price and has nice hugger design. So i went with it.

It's best if you can head down to check out the wind performance of your desired brand. Cos what I feel strong may not be so to you.

I am not a fussy person.

Its been 9 months I installed 4x Bestar Falcon fans.

All working like a charm. Did not drop like what @elvintay claimed.

The best feature I like is I can integrate all of them to my Tuya app. And cheap.
