I picked up an Aorus 1TB NVMe gen 4 (without heatsink) for $219 which is the cheapest I’ve seen it at. This will replace the Aorus with heatsink I have so I can use the Aorus Xtreme motherboard heatsink :)

I blacklisted Kingston's SSDs after they quietly switched the NAND on the V300 to an inferior one. Looks like I will not be buying any more Adata SSDs either.

Me too. Not going to get Adata drives anymore.
Kind of unethical practice if they do not inform consumers of the change.

when you get the item, please do a read/write test, would like to know if the ssd gets hot or not and will it degrade the performance or not, since it comes without heatsink..

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , the reason why they are sold without heatsink is because most motherboards these days comes with m.2 heatsinks

Sure,.. I will run some tests once I get my zen 3. Right now my ATX has no CPU so can't test it. I will be using my motherboard heatsink on it. I currently have the 1TB with the heatsink and that thing does get very hot.

I will run some test with the new one for a while and may consider removing the heat sink on my other one (will void warranty) and RAID them as a single drive. Will provide some updates once I do get the test done and may consider doing a YouTube video on it.
