alright. i tink i go read the n90 reviews. if really cmi then i get m12 after m19 come out. since price likely will drop. thanks for all the help

If no need rush, wait lah :) maybe you'll see an A10 9.7" IPS tablet by then.

They can be very fast. Normally if they placed order with factory, it only takes about 1 week to produce 1000-10000 pieces. Then 1 week to distribute to the shops, then can sell liao:s8:

i though u gong for some 9.7" IPS device?

M19 not out yet, even if out also need time to stable. Also no <650g RK2918 IPS tablet proven stable yet. I don't want to be some of the 2nd batch U9GT2 users, after 1 week send back for repair -_-

499 RMB really a good deal and I always wanted a white tablet. Established brands one white color I'll never buy, cos easier dirty. Then will heart pain a 600-900 tablet use <2months get stained.

499RMB different, dirty just buy 3M carbon fibre sticker and do "makeup" for tablet lol I'll never put a >S$500 tablet less than 8months under the knife=:p

This is just my personal opinion, to be taken as your referrence only.

N90 is a relatively new tablet, most gotten are mostly sites reviewer and retailers or of similar relations. Some gotten are more like demo sets from company. It might be a good idea to wait a week or 2 before you actually decides :)

Novo7A tablet is VERY well reviewed. IIRC, when it's out nobody mentioned it's "oily" screen & some have warped edges. It was only after general users gotten them, that it came to light. Of cause it's no big issue, most won't notice especailly with a screen protector over the screen. BUT some people just didn't like "oily" screen.

It's just like Novo8A just came out has "cross" screen. But not many notice till they look at it real close when the screen is off.

I bet most people reading this is having ??? in their head what oily and cross screens are. They are some particals/patterns on the screen due to some technical issues. Normally they do not really affect the operation of the tablet, just that some people just don't like it.=:p

edit: M19 HDMI or BT wait for the actual release. If you search English sites, they do indicate there'll be BT & HDMI. The English name for M19 company is Aoson :)

lol I get mine from China sites too :) But you'll have to ananlyse the info and not taken everything as a whole. I know it's exciting to see a cheap and nice tablet and you just want to make it yours:D But here not China, we have to taken other things into consideration too.

BTW I wrote something on the importance of community in Novo7A thread a few mins back. You might want to take that as referrence too;)

meaning no need sign plan also can 3G ah?

paisay, tech noob

It means the tablet if you put sim card inside can have 3G. The sim card and mobile broadband plan you have to apply with Singtel/Starhub/M1.

Edit: BTW Window N12 RK2918 capacitive screen tablet joins the 499 RMB group :)

Telcast P76Ti A10 capacitive screen tablet yesterday had a promo for limited sets at 499 RMB, now there's a shop in Tmall selling it 530 RMB. However these are all pre-order. Wonder a couple week after release will it be all selling at 499 RMB^^

inbuild 3G means you can slot in sim card. others like Novo7A, U9GT2, etc you need to plug in a 3G dongle.

Pandawill lower their price for Momo9 US$119.49 with free shipping:D If you use promo code "robin2011" you get 5% discount. Which means you'll pay around S$150 shipped and their 1year warranty.

The Momo9 is like Novo7A except it's running at 1.2GHz, no back camera, smaller battery capacity (3200 mah). Pandawill state only charger is included, but official package in China should have charger, data cable, earpiece, manual, warranty card. So do check with Pandawill if you are interested.

A10 tablets (Momo9 and Novo7A chipset) generally runs well and not too much difference in their operation. Wifi for Momo9 is said to be acceptable, screen is responsive.

So I'll touch on the possible bad things you MAY encounter with this tablet, it does not means all Momo9 is like this.

1. Minor warped screen at the edges. This is common in flat panel tablets at this price range, even the Novo7A units gets this problem.
2. Soft and loose back cover. From what I see they could be using rubberized plastic cover used in mobile phone. My Xperia play and Atrix have such casing.
3. Ripples on screen when pressed too hard. I think this could be due to the back cover.

Also these are some issues that all Momo9 have;

1. Slow start up, which takes about 1min.
2. Slow firmware update compared with other companies.
3. Factory default firmware when charging sometime it'll restart (Novo7A older firmware has this problem)
4. Playing movies from external USB device may have problem, again I think it's firmware problem.
5. Some adhoc issue, again I think this is firmware issue as old Novo7A firmware also don't support adhoc.

Above are from various threads I'd came across, to be taken as referrence only. I think it's still a good value tablet at S$150 (shipped) with 1yr warranty:D

Here's a Chinese review

Settings should be in the sim card (for mobile broadband) or sent via SMS. Speak to the Singtel & M1 techs, the CSO may not be able to help you.

Recieved my Uzone F0C today :)

It has quite visible "cross" screen, however this does not affect the screen display when it on. Comparing to my Novo7A, the screen is not as reflective. The screen looks brighter when both tablets set at 11% brightness, the color looks deeper for F0C with a cooler contrast. Sharpness I feel F0C is better.
Build wise, F0C is slimmer with a 12mm thickness, whereas Novo7A is 13mm. Although Novo7A feels more solid, but F0C aren't that far behind. In fact I feel F0C grip to be better as Novo7A is smooth on the back, making it slippery at times. (Do note I'm a small build Asian). IIRC, weight for Novo7A is 360g and F0C is 330g.

F0C default Uzone custom UI is ugly, looks like a really bad copy of IOS. It runs smooth though, but I would had prefered RK2918 SDK2.1 default honeycomb UI. Everything runs smooth, but not as smooth as Novo7A. If you never had experience with A10 tablets, then you'll find F0C pleasent to use at this price range. Screen is also responsive, a little too responsive at times.
It runs 1080p MOV & MP4 smoothly on default video player, but can't play MKV file. Yet to try other players, but this could had been fixed with the firmwares released on 15th and 16th Nov. I just feel videos looks better on F0C than Novo7A. It could be the colors.

Wifi, F0C is generally better than Novo7A, but there are some drop out now and then. I do believe this will be fixed with firmwares. Surfing net, Novo7A is faster at loading. It's the same as PDF/ebook loading, Novo7A is just better. As for heat generated, I feel it's slightly lesser than Novo7A.

The quadrant standard scores I gotten were between 1850 to 1980+. This is better than Novo7A 1800+. Not sure about 3D games yet, will try it later.
