I saw something that should be commended :)

I was at pandawill website and saw they started adding OEM infront of some of their tablets. Like the Cube U9GT2 they are selling is OEM U9GT2.

I'd always thought about the possibilities of online shops selling OEM of porpular tablets. Saw the merimobiles vid of U9GT2 not having Cube logo behind and suspected it to be Shanzhai version which was reported in IMP3.

Well at least pandawill is making an effort to be honest. Just hope their aftersales services can improved.

And no I'm not recommending them dispite having lowest price for some tablets. I'm just saying they make effort to be honest. Only after real positive customer reviews of them start surfacing, unlikely I would recommend them=:p

随芯随E, E-S11 tablet using A10 chip undergoing trials now: bbs.imp3.net/thread-10514369-1-1.html

随芯随E I don't how to think of them^^; the 1st time I heard of this brand was their S10, it was a rebrand of Ason Wopad M12. But they seems to gain positive feedbacks with their low priced Tegra2 S12.

Now it's S11. It's only been like less than 6months, they have 3 models with 3 different chipsets. Wonder how they can cope with the support. Also worried that what they are selling as OEM rebrand. Which means support may disappear if the company fades away like other Shanzhai.

BTW for those keen on Bmorn V99, it seems that there's 1 Taobao seller claiming their shop will get 1st batch of stock coming Wed. If they do, maybe I'll jump onto V99 instead of try order SN10T2 for the 3rd time:s13:

edit: When I stop and think, V99 is supposed to be with ICS 4.0, and since ICS 4.0 are from Allwinner, does that means there's actually a stable version expected to be out by Wed? or maybe there's already 1 for beta testers^^

Pandawill from what I'd read they are OK if they have stocks, but if they don't have stocks best to cancel and ask for refund, cos they may drag a long time telling u the stock is coming.

Problems normally starts when you need aftersales service. Search around slatedroid you'll see. Hope they'll improve on that area.

U really pay US$208 ah? never apply the 10% discount paypalsa code?;)

Also hope you'll give us a review :)

Edit: On the side note, I did tested their price match twice 2 months ago. 1st time they gave some excuse saying what their selling is already the lowest (wopad i7). 2nd time they price match and went lower, but never reply me (momo9).

2 weeks ago I'd email them to ask about if they have stock for LY-F1, they never reply. So I think they don't reply all emails. Again it's the customer service.

Also if you paid by paypal, you have some protection. IIRC, there's a time frame of that protection. Never let the seller dragged too long^^;

Those interested in Teclast A10 can refer to this user review
̨µçA10¸öÈËʹÓÃÐĵã¡ - ̨µç Teclast - iMP3ËæÉíÓ°Òô -

Playing games can reach 4-5hrs (with wifi life will reduce) and Wifi is stable around 4-5m with 2 walls in between.

Con:

1. Screen bleeding.
2. Screen light casting off at the back shell.
3. Slight flickering when copy file.
4. Default browser has video stream problem.
5. Inverted UI display. New firmware should be able to fix this.

Now I have switched my attention to the 9.7" 1024x768 resolution.
I found out that 1024x600 resolutions are not good for reading pdf magazines.

So, based on what I gathered here, there are 2 choices:
Teclast A10
Bmorn V99

Is Bmorn a better brand vs Teclast? I saw the teardown pics of the Teclast, and it's very worrying. Terrible cablings especially between the lcd and the mb. I believe a single drop will mess the whole thing.

:s13: China tablets are not made to be dropped :D

Branding between the 2? As far as I know when Telcast products started gaining porpularity back in 2003, Bmorn no where to be found.

I agree the internal organising can be improved. BUT those so call loose cable wires is not cheapo leh^^; It's actually more expensive than those normal flat lcd connector cables. They are LDVS cables.

Here's a short explaination by Teclast staff^^
Ϊʲǫ̂µçµÄA10 ÒªÓóɱ¾½Ï¸ßµÄ LVDS ÆÁÏߣ¿ÒòΪLGµÄ9.7IPSÆÁ¶¼ÒªÕâôÅä! - ¹ú²ú7~10´çƽ°åMID - iMP3ËæÉíÓ°Òô -

Edit: IMHO if u want durability, better spend more money get those you can have local warranty like xoom, transformer, iconia :)

A good example what's China tablet is like:

After about 1 month daily usage, my wife managed to kill the 3.5mm port and back casing came slightly loose for Uzone F0C lol

She's not rough, but electronics always has shorter lifespan when she uses them^^; At least a milestone lasted her 1 year b4 the 3.5mm got problem^^
