This is the tablet I am ordering. Can't do COD. Have to transfer the money first as I need to pay the seller first before he ships the items out.

Btw I am getting the 8GB version. The price I state is for 8GB version. Cuz the price difference between 8GB and 4GB is only 10+

thks for the quick response.

i m trying to find out (through another new thread on this forum) if i will be able to surf the internet on this tablet by connecting to the hotspot created by my Android Samsung Galaxy SL mobile phone.

also would like to know if this supports a Starhub 3G usb dongle (Huawei brand)

if u know the answers, please respond here. thks

Almost all huawei modems can be used. As for other brands I do not know.

Not sure about other tablets but the seller I getting the M7++ from uses his with his HTC desire(Android with the Froyo update) WIFI hotspot setting.

The postman called me today while I was at work, have to get my mum to go home collect on my behalf.

I am no IT guru who knows all the rooting and techie stuff. Right away i install the basic apps like the usual few browers, curvefish widgets, and games like angry bird.

no lag so far. Am a satisfied buyer :D
May go to telco to test out the usb bb mobile see if it works, then will whack a plan :)

Looks very interesting, do post a detailed review after you've played with it a little.

TIA :)

Just updated the firmware to 2.3.1
Its something by their forum guru without having to root the tablet!

Quick review

I tried before other MIC tablets in the market locally and those in hk last dec when i was there.
NONE of them are as smooth as this C8.

It installed flash player 10.3 already, but yet to have chance to try those facebook games. Will give it a try later tonight when home.
Installed games like angry birds, battleheart. They work smoothly without any lags at all.
It comes with HDMI port, but I have no idea what I can do with it though... connect it to display on tv? I am thinking if it can connect to project or not, then maybe I can do presentation to my clients at work :D
It comes with two mini usb port, one is for OTG the other seems to be for HDMI.

Will try to visit telco this weekend to test if it works with the local 3G bb dongle. I read reviews it should work mostly, but all overseas comments...

Pros
good forum support
firmware 2.3.1
smooth UI
additional accessory keyboard
expandable memory with microsd

Cons
heavy at ard 500g
don't know where I can source for screen protector and casing of its size
Don't seem to have GPS built-in (still trying to confirm on this)

Overall a tablet like this priced at USD200, there is nothing I can complain already.
Its just a fraction of the mainstream android tablets in the market now, probably better than some even! :)

How much you selling your a8? Can pm me?

Hi all, you guys might wanna consider getting the Dropad A8. It comes with a capacitative screen Surefire :)

I just flashed my equivalent Dropad A8 with the CyanogenMod 7, Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it works like a charm!

You can follow the developments on this thread, it's amazing.. (Just remove the spaces)

http://www .slatedroid. com/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=139&t=17756&qpid=171969

Now I am torn between my Nook Color, this Dropad A8 equivalent and my Ipad 2 that's coming.. But I will end up selling the NC and Dropad when the Ipad comes cos its a present :(

Anyone interested in buying the Dropad A8 off me, please pm me for details. It's essentially brand new, just open yesterday and played around with it (tested the apps, market etc with CM7 Gingerbread 2.3).
