Thanks for the information.
Yes, my wife got knee issue, walking no problem only climbing up and down lots of stairs then will be painful. Understand domestic flight usually don't have aerobridge, no problem we been thru before.
BKK - CNX transit is 1hr+, I think walk straight to domestic side should have enough time.
CNX - BKK transit is 3hrs+ more relaxing.

I read there are songthaew can seat about 10 ppl. Grab is available for city area. Countryside or mountain will be songthaew or hire transport.
When are you going? Did you plan for any day trip?
I saw aksara heritage thru browsing, very beautiful inside. How much you book for?

I'm looking at klook's day trip to some areas outside of city. If there's any recommendation for transport / daytrip locations for families, please recommend!

the hotel i booked the cheapest room, is around $100 per night.

There is no Uber. You have to use Grab. I don't think they have taxis you can hail from the roadside.

do you know if grab will be able to bring us to locations outside of city? like night safari, etc.

Where is the better place to stay in CM?
Which area you guys normally stay?

I'm looking at Nimmanhaemin and old city.
Hotel MAYU short walk to Maya mall
Airbnb The Astra Condo, a distance away from the old city, very nice view
Airbnb urban jungle terrace at changklan, just outside the old city, very comfy private house.

Hi guys, pls share some tips, thanks.
stay somewhere near to somphet Market..

I haven't book yet but klook day trip look attractive especially those with small group + tour guide.
If more than 2 person can hire a driver, I also planning to hire one.

Prio condo better, near to central airport plaza if you like aircon shopping.
Just beside airport, I think will be noisy.
I thinking of staying near to Maya too. Total 6 nights, so may split into 2 airbnb or hotel at similar rate.
Thanks

She has to take motion sickness medication on flight, work well on bigger plane. Smaller plane, after land still have some after effect. Depend on how smooth the flight.

same like me.

i dread taking planes..
bigger planes work better for me too, less claustrophobic..

so far, i yet to find any good medication to overcome this

Chinese medication for motion sickness work well. Take note of the ingredient, usually same but some have higher percentage, so buy this kind, more effective. Western medication don't work that well for my wife case.

Yea, bro, when you going?

Kind to share, in case I miss out any :giggle:
If you drive, CNX trip will be more fun. Many nice remote places you can go. I don't drive, so have to shortlist those attractions worth the visit.
