The dancing and martial art moves are to sell the agility aspects. Marathon is too sell the durability and stamina aspects.

The developer are working behind the scene to train the same robot for real world boring applications and household chores.

Robots have many plastic components and chips cannot handle extreme temperatures of building fire. Most humanoid robots are actually very weak despite all the fancy acrobatics moves. Most will struggle to lift 10kg or even 5 kg with their arms.

There is a firefighting robot dog though.

Already had one humanoid robot olympics last year with contestants from many countries.
