Oh yes... Had a date with Ryan there before.... Must say I left pretty satisfied that night.... :s34:

I'm starting to believe that the waiter at Jack's Place didn't make a mistake...

Good choice, can even haggle prices of some of their selection.

Which room was that again ?

Wait what? Can you really haggle?

but its seemingly impossible to even get in by proximity even

hence I ask you for other recommendations within the vicinity

Hmmm I'm not sure what the entry requirements are anymore since I last matriculated into Primary School like twenty years ago, but I think Nanyang Primary, Henry Park, and RGS primary are decent.

whirling dervish is really the thread MVP

@Whirling_Dervish did Min Min pay you $$ to post here?

What do you mean?

I'm thinking just enrol her kids in whichever one that has more kids of similar ses level. Maybe the networking starts young

Then again that schools in that area mostly will fit that criteria

I don't think primary school kids know how to network. Personally, I think the main benefit of being in a good school would be to avoid bad company, because these children are very impressionable at that age. The academic reputation isn't paramount since she can afford the best tutors to tutor them after school hours.

Network to the kids is play together. No, they don't intentionally network but for my case some of my primary school classmates still meet up regularly because of the fun they had together ;)

You're right about avoiding bad company. I had a colleague, his primary school son came home spewing expletives because of bad company

Hmmmm it really depends on your definition of networking. To me, networking is professionally-focussed, and is intended to further one's career or financial interests.

Otherwise it is just socialising, or in the primary school context, playing.

You wouldn't say that toddlers network; they play.

Sho nice can jiak soft rice...

I also wish can eat soft rice *rooks at wd zehzeh*

Got my bto and moved in, then finances all gone... then because of shytty previous company with shytty management who want to take advantage by changing my work days from 5 days to 6 days without changing salary, I quit immediately and found another job but a large pay cut due to job switch barrier holding a non exec position

Current company is great actually, almost no politics, 2days wfh and flexi hours as long as fulfill monthly work hrs. Just that the pay is lower and just enough to sustain my month expenses with only a couple of hundreds for savings
