If you want take leap of faith, get a brand new ciem. If not, wanna play safe, go reshell your tf10s hahah

Yes I am thinking of getting a brand new ciem as I have not listen anything outside my TF10, I wanted to try something new..

the uha will probably cost u 500-600.
with the remaining budget doubt u can get something really WOW

Yah, but is the uHA necessary in your opinion? Any recommendation for me?

A full priced elpis can hoot man

What the damage and where can I get? When i googled it, Null Audio came back..

Ok. Just make sure you know what you're getting into. If possible, go search around for reviews of the ciem you wanna buy to see what other people think about the sound sig and whether it matches your tastes or not. Also, go search around for demo sets or any universals of that custom and go and try it. Otherwise, you can always go and buy another iem then reshell.

Tf10 is a very popular reshell choice btw

Oh and the Elpis, alot of us bought it at the discounted price. Including myself. Alot of people say that the sq alone makes it worth for $199, which makes it competitive to IEMs of similar price like Shure215.

However at $299, you got to try the demo set to see if it's what you like. Even at $299, this thing is also very worth it

You get free ear impressions where if you go and do it privately already costs $50-70 and not to mention this is based in sg with local warranty so it has less hassles. And the lune cable upgrade is quite worth it too.

For $199, it was totally worth it. At $299, I would say for a ciem it is worth it but you got to make sure the sound is what you like. There's a demo universal set at null audio so you can go there and try

Super advice!

Looks like a good first CIEM...
I'll go check it out. If i get a free ear impression I will get it and try.

Was reading a little about UM Miracle vs Heir 8.a... Going to try one of those one day... :D
So we do our own ear impression & pay 1k+ online to get them to ship to us? Safe?

Which one are you talking about? Null audio is located in peninsula shopping centre. Just go there take your free impressions then done le. Shipping you only have to pay from null audio to your home lol

But if you go for other ciem brands, yes. You need to somehow get yor impressions done. Either privately or DIY. Then you go read the thread on how to shop your impressions in a cheap and safe manner. When they receive just wait it out. They will ship everything from their factory back to you

Safe meaning what? Safe to ship impressions overseas? Read the thread on shipping your impressions. Or safe that the ciem company won't cheat your money? They won't cheat your money. It's like buying things overseas there's always a risk even when buying stuff on eBay. But I can vouch that they won't cheat you la hahaha so many people buy from them le

First because of its atrocious fitting then later because it is dirt cheap :s13:

Yep!

And also because it was a flagship model and reshelling would be a better upgrade than getting another flagship iem, especially for those who like the sound of the tf10

Now that ue900 is out as the new flagship, people are saying it's a step backwards from the tf10 so tf10 is still quite popular

Another favourite of many people is to reshell tf10 and then add a mid driver to it.

Till now I haven't even heard how a tf10 sounds like.... And it's getting rarer and rarer each time :(

Rubick.. But UM3X the bass lose out to TF10. But I do agree, overall SQ UM3X is better than TF10. (TF10 Ex User here)

I felt that UM3X is a bit like my 535 Reds with milder mids and better bass.

But now I using my Ak100 + Vorzuge + 535 LTD w Whiplash V2 very fun to listen to. Especially Vorzuge pump more bass to 535LTD, the synergy so power sio.

Wasn't terribly impressed by the TF10 the last time I tried it. Ergonomic wreck as it is, not a particularly good choice either.

I think the tf10 is more of a user preference thing? I'm definitely was impressed with the sound of the 535. However I felt that though the tf10 was slightly more inferior to the 535, the pricing was definitely much better than the 535s. But still.... I could nvr get over the damn tf10 shape.... Like an oversized earwax sticking out of your ear...

thats the main reason why most pple reshelled their tf10. to get better fit.
