Yes, backdated to the date the FD fund was deposited into FS.

need more DPs to know whether 1 day is a fluke or not. most ppl ones takes weeks/month to complete. mine took 2-3 weeks

I applied on 19 Dec via SingPass. The accounts were created almost immediately but the activation code to initiate CIMB clicks came only on 30 Dec. Until today, fixed deposit has not been placed yet but looks like the FD will be backdated to when the funds were deposited to FastSaver as per response above.

I also heard that once CIMB clicks is enabled placing on FDs through the app is instant, maybe someone can confirm.

can easily transfer to your FD account yourself if you still do not see it reflected, less than 1 min task...remember that time when I opened the FD (already had fastsaver), I had to transfer myself.

I had tried to do that too, but the closest option I could find to do so was to click on "Local Transfer to my CIMB Account". But the FD account does not come up as an option for me to transfer funds to.

Once your Fastsaver account has been activated...FD placement will be instant via App

I encountered the same problem as you. After waiting for 2 weeks for my Fastsaver account to be activated, I transfered the fixed deposit amount to my fastsaver. However, this FD amount wasn't auto transferred to my FD account even after a few days. (I did applied the FD together with the FS account)

Then I found out that I could actually do it manually via app:
1. Select "Account" at the bottom (2nd from the left)
2. Select your FD account
3. Select "Place Fixed Deposit" at the top
4. Follow the instructions (Yes, I did the FD placement all over again and ignore the previous one which I did during FD account opening)
5. Once everything is completed and submitted, the placement amount will be auto deducted from your FS acc instantly.
6. After that, you will see all the info + the placement account in yout FD account.

Hope these info helps.

** The start date will follow the the day you do the placement manually via app.

I don't know what the deciding factor is. Mine for example was instantaneous after applying via myinfo. I received my approval email in under a minute

I think everyone referring to when you receive activation code so u can access clicks after the account creation. My creation email was immediate after the application but activation code after transfer the money still not yet received

For FD applications together with fast account. Do we need transfer 1k + FD amount or just the FD amount? Because the FD amount already greater than 1k so its also consider?

same thing. code received within 1 business day of the transfer. within 8 hours to be exact.
