There are 4 banks (that I know of) that offer this. Say you are in Jul-Aug promotion

HSBC - interest end Oct. Has additional 1% given 5th of Aug and Sep. Has overlapping periods
CIMB - interest end Sep. 3 mths promotion period. Has overlapping periods
Maybank - interest given on 5th of Aug and Sep. Has tiering of interest. No overlapping period
SC - interest given end Jul and Aug. No overlapping period

So SC is the fastest to get interest, HSBC the slowest (but highest interest).

Today? 26 Sep or 26 Aug? If it is latter and u have not participated in previous batch promo, technically, yes and you will be entitled to the 5 days of prevailing interest rates while the additional interest should be credited in November.

So when should we empty this account out since my promo is until end of this month. should I remove it on 1st? Planning to move my funds to SC esaver, but SC also post Sunday transaction on next business day. So im wondering when is the best time to move my funds around.

Yes, that is my understanding also.

But not sure if comes Oct, will there be new promotion since ours ended in Sep....
Hopefully, there is new promotion...

I joined in CIMB SS Aug promo 3.4% and i like to enquire if the above quote.

DO i need to deposit an incremental $5K every month from Aug to oct or only in Aug to get the bonus Interest?

Bonus Interest/Profit (if any) will be accrued daily and credited into the Qualifying Account(s) on
2 September 2024 for June to July bonus interest/profit and on 30 September 2024 for August
bonus interest/profit.

I have no context to your first question, maybe someone else can hop in.
