if i read it correctly, let say i have $80,000 in Fast Saver..

First $50,000 will earn 1% and my remaining $30,000 will earn 1.5% right?

Not my whole $80,000 will earn 1.5%

for that $30k, only $25k will earn 1.5%, the remaining $5k earn 0.6% only.

good initiative. i use fastsaver mainly for emergency funds. i wouldn't want to park so much money in this account .. unless you already max the limit in citi maxigain as well as SSB

it looks low but fastsaver is fuss free without criteria, others like dbs multiplier, uob one and ocbc360 need to meet credit spend or others, unless got more citibank maxigain not bad

No such thing? So long as you maintain the minimum deposit of $1k, it will earn interest, and you don't have to have any activity.

I am not sure but all bank account must have some sort of movement debit and credit right ? If no activity like one year it wont be dormant?

CIMB seems to be fine with dormant accounts, even if the balance is $0

Got the email from cs that this account will be dormant if there is no activity in 36 months.

I guess just make some transfer once in a while . No balance is ok.
