Wow, this is good news.

Effective interest rate is 1.325% for $100k in this account. Citibank Maxigain base interest is about 1.31% (assuming Sibor is about 1.87 now). With additional counters for Citibank, interest is still better for Maxigain.

The why wait for interest (get interest upfront), the total interest will be same as, take at maturity? Or maturity interest is compounded so more?
