For the current Jan2025 CIMB FastSaver promo of EIR 3.2% pa for 3 months, is the sweet spot exactly at 75k or can I put in more like 150k and still get the EIR 3.2%pa over 3 months?
Like that if you have multiple accounts and have eg 75x3 … split into three accounts get the best yield 😀

Just completed my first GIRO recurring transaction from OCBC to CIMB for the additional 0.5% bonus interest. The transaction description reflected at CIMB is "GIRO-IBG". Is this the correct way to get the 0.5% bonus interest? Thanks in advance.
GIRO-IBG
SI SI - CIMB

b.
Inward Monthly Standing Instruction
i.
Set up recurring monthly standing instruction from a non-CIMB 1st party named account with a minimum of S$1,000(in one single transaction) credited into your CIMB FastSaver or FastSaver- i;
ii.
Only monthly standing instruction credited through GIRO with transaction description of “MONTHLY FUNDS TRANSFER - CIMB” or “SI - CIMB” in your statement will qualify. All other transactions credited through any other method except for GIRO will not be eligible;

The bottom line does have "SI - CIMB" which I input manually in the description field when setting up the recurrung transfer. Does that count?
Must be giro from an entity ? giro from my dbs to cimb can?

A standing instruction is just a regular transfer of funds from your own account with another bank.

Just copy exactly the description in the tnc and paste into the description of your transfer and make sure it is GIro! Someone already shared.

MONTHLY FUNDS TRANSFER - CIMB
OR
SI - CIMB

If you have BOC, it is same day or next day you can see!
was trying to find where to do it on the BOC site (and couldnt manage to do so). Where to look?

Vola , found it. thanks for the magic, royalmix.
