I think that was a conversation between you and another member in this thread earlier last month or was it Oct.

it should be something on the line of having one star, one fast.
Star promo ended, transfer to other bank then transfer to fast right?

I don't think CIMB previously say can since it contradicts Point 6 of the TNC

EDIT -
Logically, in the entire TnC, only Point 3 infers that you can have multiple accounts participating

My memory is failing nowadays...

My objective is is the following:
a) I am participating using my FastSaver now to earn 3.3% until 31 Dec 2024.
b) Place $5k into FastSaver-i today (1 Dec) to "chope" 3.2% until 28 Feb 2024. Gives you the flexibility to add more $$ later if no other banks give 3.2% or more.
c) If you have more then $250k, StarSaver accounts will give a bit more (3.3% above $250k)

i currently have fastsaver account for many years.

if today i open a starsaver i might not be qualify for the Dec. Jan Feb 2025 promo?

Qualifying Account(s) refers to the CIMB FastSaver / FastSaver-i / StarSaver / StarSaver-i / StarSaver (Savings) / StarSaver (Savings)-i / Junior Saver account. For Existing Customers, Qualifying Account(s) refers to existing Qualifying Account(s) opened before the Promotion Period and does not include Qualifying Account(s) opened during the Promotion Period. By way of example, for Existing Customer who currently holds a Fastsaver account before 1 Dec 2024, and opens a new Starsaver account on 1 Dec 2024, Qualifying Account(s) refers to the Fastsaver account only, and does not include the Starsaver account under this Promotion.

4. To qualify for this Promotion, a customer must:
a. For New Customers, open a Qualifying Account online within the Promotion Period;
b. For Existing Customers, hold an existing Qualifying Account before the Promotion Period;

Why don't use this account? It is cause Nov 31st balance too high?
If so, then better go HSBC EGA / SC eSaver or Maybank isavvy
Or park 1 month at those no fuss HYSA like maribank or GXS

Just wanna check the FastSaver account. If I deposit 100k today 1st Dec 24 and withdraw it on 1st Jan 25, will I still earn 3.2% interest?

My Nov 24 adb is zero

I want to transfer money from scb to my cimb fastsaver to participate in this promo so i log into my cimb to check my balances first, but cannot log in. Using app, after entering my PW it gets stuck with the red circle spinning only. Tried logging in via internet banking, the notification to approve my log in doesn’t come to my app. Very frustrating. Is it my a/c dormant for too long, they sort of freeze it. Their call centre closed at 7pm already.

Anyway, can I still just send money over from my scb? But On my scb records, i have 2 cimb a/c as registered as transfer recipient, one starts with 1000……, ythe other 2000……, which one is fadtsaver? This latest promo applies to fastsaver right?

Assuming you did already read the TnC and you fufill all the requirements, Yes.
Each month bonus is independent from the rest. So in your case, you will only get the total base + bonus of 3.2% for Dec.
Bonus interest credited at the end of March 2025

Why not just throw it into those no fuss HYSA like mari or GXS if you intend to hold short term?

But must transfer today right? Or tomorrow also can?
Make sure you can access account first.
You got entire month to transfer in.

At most just lose today or tomorrow base + bonus interest only. Don't risk your money for things that you can control but won't.
