• Additional 3.3% cash rebate will be awarded on local spending in the Restaurant – Bars category (based on merchant codes classified by Visa/MasterCard), online spend in foreign currencies, and payWave transactions on your Principal or Supplementary CIMB Visa Signature Card.
• Additional 3.3% cash rebate for local spending in Restaurant – Bars category and online spend in foreign currencies is subjected to a minimum spend of S$50 per transaction. Spend below S$50 per transaction will be accorded the 0.5% cash rebate only.

The 3.3% additional rebate for F&B spend sounds good on paper but being limited to $50 per month is not much, if you are looking for huge benefits from F&B spend, especially if you dine out a lot for personal or business.

The UOB Preferred Amex offers better F&B rewards at 4 miles per SGD$ spend with no limits on the amount ... the only exception being that some hotel restaurants are excluded.

It is just a $30k pa card. The 3.8% rebate is only applicable with min $500 spend in a statement month.

I gotten a phone call invitation. First 1000 approved card applicants who make any 3 transactions within the 1st month will get a free Xiaomi 1S worth $169

Edit: The free gift is also not guaranteed

Should the number of successful new Principal Cardmembers exceed the number of Gifts available for a particular month, the Principal Cardmembers with the highest spend for that particular month will be awarded the Gift.

Highest spend will be calculated based on transactions posted from the Principal Cardmembers’ card approval date up till and including the posting date of the 3rd transaction.

$30K salary nia. $120K will be damn scary for Visa Signature. That is for Visa Infinite.

From what I heard the ANZ Travel Visa Signature card is better for rebates. You earn air miles but can change that to cash rebates if you prefer. Only catch is the ANZ card required $60K salary and if they refuse to waive the annual fee then you end up paying $200.

If you are earning close to $60K they MIGHT make an exception but if you are too far off, can forget it I think.

I think u can get it with a FD of 50k.
No income requirement.

Just applied to give it a try. Better than their normal platinum mastercard. 3 transactions for the Xiaomi seems not bad.

I received the application form in the mail today. Going to apply and try my luck for xiaomi.

Got free airport transfer if spend above $500 also. But, only twice a year I think and need 5 business days prebooking.
