CL using M1 network still good? I have very bad with M1 network
Why didn't use up the $15? Can pay other bills or buy something before porting out.

Port out from Eight to CL, network is so much better.
Still good at least for the areas i visit. Otherwise fall back to my Singtel backed mvno line. Voila!

Same experience for me. Eight 4G $8 plan to CL 5G $8 plan, network experience is so much better.
how to compare 4G Eight to 5G CL.
should change to 5G Eight to see.
BTW Starhub (Eight) and M1 (CL) using same 5G station

Or you could also compare that both plans are $8.
Price comparison makes sense.

Special promotion from CL with S$8 5G plan (initially with roaming data but no more now). There is also a lower cost CL 5G plan at S$6 per month.
My wife and I have two S$3 5G lines, the legacy Starhub Prepaid S plan (special Happy Prepaid Card migration offer in Nov 2025). It has 80GB local data and 1GB roaming data only.

What's the difference for $6 vs $8 5G plan? Worth the extra $2?

No more already.
It was a Starhub Happy Prepaid Card migration offer back in Nov 2025. Starhub's new Prepaid Plans belong to Postpaid in terms of IMDA classification.
We got three Starhub Happy Prepaid Cards but only two got the offer when migrated to Starhub Prepaid S 5G plan (no longer offered by Starhub). The other line migrated to Starhub Prepaid S plan slightly earlier is at S$10 per month. Lazy to change the last line though as my daughter is using it without issues.

Many eight S$8 4G plan users have one for one top up offer, so the effective price is only at S$4 per month.
If not, I tend to think many eight S$8 4G plan users will move out due to heavy congestion.
I keep one eight S$8 line just for roaming usage because of S$88 one for one top-up offer (22 month total, still got 14 months to go).

I ported out of the $8 Eight plan because the reception got so horrible, I was missing calls from clients and stakeholders.
Sacrificed some credits. No point staying if it doesn't work and when it can impact my work since I was using it as a work line.
