For circles life, after exceeding the bundled data quota, will there be any pay per use data charge (with no unlimited data pass)?

Guys, my billing cycle starts on the first day of every month. If I were to port out today, will CirclesLife pro rate or will they charge me for the full month?

In CL app you can choose to enable or disable autoboost, which is to pay for 200MB boosts at $2/mth automatically.

If not, before the full bundle is used up (I think there's about 50-250MB buffer), CL will disable your data service for the whole bill period until you buy the data add-ons on the app via WiFi. (Yes, you can't access CL app via your line if data is disabled.)

Full month. No prorate and refunds.

ic. like that no pay per use data as per any other telcos, it is very good actually. no need to worry about extra data usage bill. :)

that's why i am looking to switch to myrepublic lite plan also. The data bundled is not as many as circle life (6gb vs 20gb) but it has unlimited data at throttled speed which to me it is good enough too.

i actually wanted such function in my lastime singtel line but it does have one which i often incur extra $10 to $20 due to the exeed of bundled data. there was one time even worse I got a $100++ bill in the end when i was on starhub.

Sorry, I typed wrongly. 200MB autoboost is charged again $2/boost, not $2/mth.
It’s essentially the same as overages, just that instead of full 1GB block, it’s split into 200MB blocks.

MyRepublic Lite and CL base plan can’t be compared directly tho, the price bracket is totally different. Only CL base (after port-in promo), GRID and Giga pop up $18 plan can be compared directly, as long as you’re in that promo period.

Does not look attractive seriously after the boost. No point to buy extra data after the bundled. It will be expensive no matter how.

Yes, it's not cheap. But that's the point. Operators nowadays don't really want to earn on overages, but recurring revenues (ie data add-ons that users won't unsubscribe for some time). Increasing overage fees is to encourage adoption of such.
