Why is Vivobee's plan confusing? The unlimited plan is $1 for 99 month. Then must add on at least $5 every month right?

For circles life voice call, I frequently experience interference.

Like people have pointed out, their site is all over the place. Some place write 12 months $1 some place write 99 months $1.

Then there's those add-ons. Which requires payment via VISA/MasterCard. Many of the foreigners only have NETS and not debit cards as part of their payroll account. How are they gonna get the "benefits"?

Giga had been solid for me since i ported over from circles. And it has rollover data for all its plans, even the cheaper ones.

CL was quite the trailblazer when it first launched. It's no longer the "obvious choice" due to the current competition.

VoLTE is technically already out on Circles but I am struggling to get it to work for my main line, my Flexi line VoLTE works fine. Put my main line SIM into 3 different phones (all of which VoLTE on TPG works), just doesn't work. Contacted them, they insisted my SIM card is fine and VoLTE is enabled.

It works for me. $5 plan, with Xiaomi mi 2s.
Has anyone try if there is a pay as you roam for $5 plan? Understand there is no auto roaming for $5 plan.

I would say, in terms of MVNO ranking, this is probably the case
1) Circles
2) GRID
3) RedOne
4) MyRepublic
5) VIVIFI
6) Zero1
7) CMLink (for now)

Unknown:
Vivobee (really hard to gauge as their plans aren't aimed for locals, plus their plans is so darn confusing I'm not even sure if the foreigners will get it or not)

Reason why GRID is so high is because it has the strong trunk communication as core and it's popularity is quite high compared to other SingTel MVNOs, especially amongst younger population. I've seen a few friends on GRID while almost nobody know the existence of Zero1/VIVIFI. RedOne has Malaysian side as backing so it's not that bad. China Mobile CMLink also has their China backing so it may not be that bad too, but unconfirmed because it is too new.
MyRepublic probably have to use their broadband as anchor and the mobile as side project with minimal profitability if any.

Zero1 plagued with billing issues, therefore there's a much higher chance of becoming another Zero Mobile.
VIVIFI may be able to save themselves with their $8.80 Lite plan, as it's a good deal for those that need lots of talktime and not much data. Recommended that plan to a few of my friends for their parents already, even though I'm not affiliated with them.

I am surprised that grid is popular, although I know it will be hard for grid to collapse as it is a JV between two big players. I suppose the points system is attractive to many youths.

I will disagree about Zero1 and Vivifi though. I think for its flaws, Zero1 will ironically survive longer than Vivifi, because of the unlimited gimmick and its $9.90/$13.90 plan. Vivifi doesn't have much attractions unless the subscriber has a big family to share data or old folks that don't use much data. But then again, the older folks all use FB and whatsapp nowadays so more data might be preferred.

Same here. I had a live chat via the Circles Life app, one CSO told me VoLTE is only enabled for Apple iPhones only. LOL What nonsense is that. Another CSO gave me plenty of settings workaround, which I already did myself.

The CSO even confirmed regardless of the plan, $0 Flexi, $5 plan or base plan, VoLTE is enabled across all their services.

Lucky I did not pay a single cent for their services, except for $6 delivery fee on the second day of the Flexi Plan launch. Very incompetent customer service, live chat lasted for almost an hour, end up VoLTE not yet settled, now contacting via email.

Circles.Life Rollover Data for Unlimited plan is only for the $20 add-on option from the base plan.

It does not seem to be implemented for the $18/$28 unlimited plan (20GB).

The current top limit is increased to 100GB, up from 40GB, and from 20GB when it starts.
It allows you to rollover up to 300GB.

So for any data used under 100GB for that month, it'll add to the next month.

I don't think it is just the points system actually. The 40GB at $24.90 is pretty good, especially if you compare it against the competition. The additional 1GB Malaysia Roaming makes it even more attractive too.

M1 gives 30GB for $25/mth, and that excludes Caller ID. Even if accounting the $5/mth disc that pop up sometimes, it's still lesser value.

StarHub requires a 12 month contract for $25/mth and give 25GB + UWD. No contract only have 15GB + UWD, which is flat out no go for many.

SingTel requires a 12 months contract for $25/mth and give 30GB. Still lesser value than GRID, unless VoLTE and WiFi Calling is "mandatory" for you.

There's no real competition for them, unless you take into account multiple line set up, like MyRepublic $10 6GB / Giga $10 5GB / Vivifi $8.80 3GB / RedONE $8 3GB / Circles $5 2GB / Zero1 $9.90-13.90 1GB + TPG $10 50GB plan, which may be better value but won't be as hassle free and coverage issues that TPG still faces.

Hi guys... My CL CIS plan has ended and now i'm paying $28/mth... i want to enjoy the $18/mth again so the only way is to port out to another telco then port back in with new CIS sign up right?

which telco would you guys recommend? I'm thinking of porting out for 1-2 mths then port back CL again for the new CIS. is it possible?

Port out to starhub & port in back to circles life. Starhub doesn't charge sim card fee or activation fee.

Worked for me.

It is not really "Unlimited". There is a max amount of so called Fair Usage Limit before your speed is throttled.
My understanding is the Roll Over will extend the Fair Usage to another higher limit.

Circles life calculation is :

Base data = 20GB
"Unlimited" data = 80 GB + unlimited data at managed speed

Base data cannot rollover. The maximum data you can have at any point in time is 300 GB

I agree. Now with TPG $10 for 50GB plan and MR $10 for 6GB Lite plan, Vivifi and Zero1's budget plans are seriously threatened

is this true for TLOFFER2020?

"On top of your Base Plan, UNLIMITED Data provides you with an additional 20GB at 4G+ speeds. Usage after that would be at a managed speed of 0.75mbps. But don’t worry, you’ll never be disconnected."

https://techjioblog.com/2020/01/02/circles-life-18-for-40gb-promo-by-31-dec/

i just realise the CIS promo is 100gb for first 3 month only, thereafter drop to 20gb

guess the TLOFFER2020 is still better buy with unlimited data for 12 months

I am on TLOFFER2020. Now into 2nd month with 162gb left. Going to roll over soon into 3 month and will become 262gb.

Speed wise very fast. No complaint. With so much data wouldn't even smell managed speed.
