Anyone tried the new borderless plan? $35 for 100GB data in APAC countries.

The entire rollout is a fiasco. I've been subscribing and taking screenshots of their page every week

Day 1 when I signed up: Marketed as 100GB across the 16 APAC countries

Day 5 after sign up: The plan 'transformed' to 20GB across 16 APAC countries and the remaining 80GB considered only for SG 'local' data.

After using for 2 weeks+, I realized I can't track my data usage within the app. It only shows the overall usage, not by local vs overseas. Also, when I reached out to the support team for verification, their calculation is very different from what I see when I download my usage log.

Worse still, I realized I started getting charged for data roaming even though the plan supposed to give 20GB of roaming data and network lock. I was billed $100 and had to subscribe extra $12 for the 3GB APAC plan to avoid data outage when I was traveling. They said they will waive in my next bill so I'm awaiting for that.

Now, if you check their website, the plan changes once again! It became 15GB for a few countries and 5GB for other countries. Super bait & switch since day 1. Kinda scammy and against the SG Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act if you think about it.

If you have proof (screenshots help), write in to IMDA and CASE.

hahaha not sure. never try before. this is for my work number. even if cant roam doesnt matter prevent people from texting me when im overseas

Those on esim and iPhone, do you have your number tag to the mobile line in setting? I can’t edit the number to put my number.

But pls remember to turn off roaming data cos this is pay as you roam. Will have hefty bill if you accidentally use this line for data.
Eg, Msia $1.50 for 100mb

Same here, eSIm stuck with blanks. Do not seem to have any ways to fix this though even after requesting for new eSIm to add again....

Read from Simba thread that all esim will not have number in the setting but will still works normally.

Just annoyed that unable to identfiy at a glance. lol
Butttttt, my other non local eSIMs do display numbers though...

Might be phone dependent then. I am on iPhone 12. No number shown. iPhone 14 someone said can see. (For SIMBA esim).

But speed and coverage not say very good, been doing speedtest with this line, seems to be able to get like 20-30mbps most of the time, sometimes 50mbps, sometimes 100+

the connection at my kpt was terrible. Took super long to pay digital payment and realised the speed was only 10mbs. Not even in 100s.

Anyway report to circles life or m1?
